That's how it always works. That's what happened with this 1. Arrest, probably let him go on bail along with a court date. The only thing is that looked like a nice neighborhood so that means the courts they got ain't backed up and the courts were able to set a date that wasn't months later. That's how the legal system works
@@dal1947 not necessarily, some pd’s have different policies and practices for their arrests and may not arrest people for non violent or threatening crimes (threatening as in robbery, theft, etc).
@@Metro248 oh, that I didn't know. I live in Louisiana so that's kinda unheard of for me lol. I know there's been alot of incidents in my area where they'll arrest them and let them out the next day but that's a different story because then they have that record and it's kinda hard to get away from that. I only know this because back in high school a friend of mine got into a fight with his mom's bf because he kept involving himself in the parenting situation and the guy had an arrest record after that but was still let go the next day and same thing happened with my uncle, when he was drunk at our Christmas party being a prick to his gf and I stood up for her and he blindsided me, I found out that night my grandma got hands because she started swinging on him as soon as she realized what was going on lmao

@@gmae5342 yeah it really just depends. My criminal justice teacher got a case thrown out because he asked a question BEFORE reading Miranda rights. It was a slam dunk case with an admission too..
I think it’s because of how unprofessional they were in conducting this investigation. They’re not the police. I’m not sure how law works the state they are in, but I don’t think they can physically detain someone, they don’t have the authority to do so.

If the laws are too lenient than why are there people who've done time only for evidence to come out 40 years later showing they innocent. There's that 1 story where a black guy had done it with a white girl but she was afraid to admit it and instead lied and said he forced himself on her, only for years later as adults, he gets out and she writes him a letter apologizing to him and explaining herself. That man served his whole life and the person who lied on him never admitted it until they were older and had already gotten out. That man whole childhood got taken away because if I remember correctly they were in their early teens when it happened
Note, for his charges in the other dudes video (Omma) he said the PDF stuff was still going on (Like the investigation etc.). So he could still very much so get charged for it.

Laws are lenient because people treated it as such back in the day, now people are taking a stronger stance on it, especially after the Dan Schneider situation. I do believe laws will catch up eventually.
My entire thought process as well, these are escalating how long before someone pulls a weapon? It’s a good service but they should stop now or go about this a different way. Atleast get some bodyguards that visit the gym atleast once a week.

I think the only way a edp would be able to get sent for more time is if they attempt to or actually do the deed to the minor. Even then, it still ain’t enough, that case with the victim, a Japanese girl named Junko was the most disgusting case of this type of stuff and even more.
