I'm glad somebody made a video about this I live in Florida when I was 7 all the way till I was 17 I rode my bike to school sometimes I usually take the bus but sometimes I go on bike and dear lord I need to drive on the sidewalk and the lights to cross the road suck their trash so I had to drive on the street but people beep at me just like Dontai said he hates people who do that but the same time I rather be there getting beat that then having to deal with the awful lights that don't even work because people don't even look and pay attention to the crossing thing when it comes to taking a turn (mainly right turns) I cannot deal with it I dislike how they make it for bikers in America mainly Florida because that's where I bike it's awful it sucks you look stupid having to use both the highway and the sidewalk sometimes depending if they even made sidewalks everything's awful and I actually wish I was born out of state because I cannot handle how they treat bikers here in America

I love how pedestrian friendly amsterdam is. More countries need to make more walkable/cyclable cities but we all know they won't because of their love of cars

I think it obviously depends on how developed and the amount of people living there. But where I was born and raised Puerto Rico the roads are dogshit and when we came to the US the roads where like butter to us. But most other bigger countries are more developed than the US like Korea and surprisingly Spain in more populated parts.

As a guy who has lived in England, The Netherlands, Germany and Mexico and has visited the us like at least 150 times, I like cars more than public transport. I’m in Germany rn and there was a big storm 5 months ago that flooded the train lines and they still haven’t fixed that shit, it’s mean to open again Decemeber 12th but it’s taken them forever and it makes everything so inconvenient + public transport is ass unless it’s a train, walking is fine but that would never work in america coz cities are huge and spread out unlike most cities here that are tiny

In The Netherlands students can get a public transportation card paid by the government to use public transport for free during the weekdays (aka to go to school) and get discount on the weekends but you have a certain amount of years to graduate. I’m not sure how long but if you don’t graduate on time then you’ll have to pay back them back. idk if anyone cares but yeah LMAO
