i fw this song. but putting down newer and younger artists is a repetitive theme in hip hop/rap. music is a form of art, and it will constantly evolve and change
I don’t think he’s putting down anybody. I think what he was saying is that everybody sounds the same (like Lil Baby). It’s not a shot at Lil Baby, it’s just that he thinks everything sounds alike which is the opposite of evolving and changing rap (stagnating). That’s just what my take on what he’s saying though, but I understand you can’t generalize all new rappers because it’s a more nuisanced question than that.
