I think that’s also one of the ways that late night show hosts net work. also, they steal each other’s jokes. I think it depends on what level of a comedian you are. If you’re starting up comedian, you have to rely on a lot of your own material. Because even if you wrote it, someone might call you out thinking that you stole the joke. But when you get up there , like the music industry, you have a team now that can help you.
