We saw Imelda at the Southampton Guildhall last Saturday, was an amazing show! She played 11 Past the Hour at the beginning, and the sound and visuals were so powerful. Imelda's voice is raw and full of emotion, and the guitars on stage were let loose to create a fabulous wall of psychedelic rock sound. There is obviously a lot of musical chemistry between the band members. The show was fantastic with some poignant moments - a tribute to Meat Loaf, a recital of the beautiful poem 'Home', and of course a bit of a dance to some of her earlier stuff (not my favourite, but my wife dragged me up, and Imelda on bodhrain was a treat). A talented and charming, down to earth artist, very much thought of as kindred spirit by my Irish wife 🍀.

I didn't know her at all, but i was enough lucky to see her on stage two weeks ago in a concert in France. She began her show with this beautiful song. I've had a crush. She's so talented and delightful !
