Lyrics for "Sleeptalking" by Imfinenow • Vocals Performed by: ÉMIA My eyes are turning red staring at the ceiling fan confessions underneath his breath I don’t think he knows Pull him towards my chest I’m holding him with both my hands he’s somewhere far away again when his eyes are closed I know when he wakes up nothing I can do but hold my tongue and somehow try to breathe I know that he misses her I know that he wishes her body was next to him instead of me why’d I hear him talking in his sleep why’d I hear him talking in his sleep Screaming in my pillow hiding under covers everything I know is a lie when every little moment feels like they were stolen like we’re on borrowed time her kiss is lingering on his mouth dishes in the sink while we’re playing house he’s keeping her close like she’s still around I’m fighting with a ghost who can take me down and I know when he wakes up nothing I can do but hold my tongue and somehow try to breathe I know that he misses her I know that he wishes her body was next to him instead of me why’d I hear him talking in his sleep why’d I hear him talking in his sleep
Idk how to explain this but there's something about these types of songs ( idk what genre you'd classify them as). It's not that they're the most amazing songs in the world ( no offense I still love it) but there's something so I guess peaceful about it/them almost takes my breath away. Does anyone else get that feeling about song, and can you maybe help me figure out what that feeling is?
It's genre is lofi, low fidelity. These are soft songs. I'll give you a very good example. I don't know if you've heard the song called Take Me Out - Jay Lounge. It's original song is Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand. You will understand the meaning. Hear both songs and let me know what you think.
A rose wants to live longer then usually, but the rose knows that she needs to go so why don't you try to live longer and do the Rose's wish to come true?🥀⌛❤💔
