Alexis, I worked in a store for almost 8 years and must’ve handled 10,000+ transactions but the very few where people were deranged still stick with me. But the really nice people stick with me too, and so do the occasional people who lose their minds and then come back and apologize. I find solace in the sheer numbers of it all, that less than 1% of people were jerks. Also, I had a boxcutter in my apron during all of those interactions, so I applaud my own restraint.
There was also a live singing rusical on us season 10, the cher one. Cher and roaches, cockroaches and cher, when all else is gone, we'll still be there-ere (just imagine me singing that)

We should get rid of service work in this country and just have universal basic income. I feel like service work prboably has the highest slip n slide rate out of any type of job and its kinda sickening. I work at walmart and I get a lot of hate from so called "Christians" because Im enby.

I'm sorry you got verbally assaulted by that customer, Alexis. I work in retail too, and it can be so disarming and upsetting when people come at you with that aggressively negative energy. I've been in several similar situations, and it can be so difficult to bounce back. I commend you on pushing through and staying professional, but also fuck that nasty twink! lol

I understand y'all (and maybe also me) switching Banksie with Cara or Tomara for the bottom 2, but my reasoning would be them wearing sneakers during the rusical. Not to be that person but everyone else wore heels as far as I know. Although I think Cara and Tomara did more BOOM BOOM BOOM dancing, ya know?
It would be wild to put either in the bottom for a costume detail decided by the show. There’s no way either of them actively would’ve chosen to not wear heels. They both could out dance anyone else in heels so using that against them is laughable

Alexis is right-- I was thinking that the make-up is pretty. I think it's because you managed to synthesize Darby's face w/ a panto style rather than putting a panto "mask" on boy face. Also, the hair...it's very much a character- so different and specific.
I think Banskie was just missing a bit more attitude in her performance and I feel like that also happened with her lip sync. She just needs to be a bit more confident in herself but this is just the beginning for her
