Austin's voice is INSANE. This was done during quarantine and they filmed their parts from their own homes and had their producer put this masterpiece together. I am not sure if anyone has said anything and honestly will be really surprised if they have not, to really hear these songs to their fullest decent headphones will make the music come alive so much more, especially with these acapella bands like Home Free, Voiceplay and Voctave. Loved the faces the second he hit his first note, as always...a pleasure to be enjoying this journey you all are on with you. Thanks for the good content again. Austin sang Leads, Rob (big beard & glasses), Tim (Balls drop), Adam (beat boxer) and Chance (flannel shirt and beanie).
Y’all will have a BLAST @ the concert !! I’m going for yet another meet & greet with our fellas in Charlotte 12/1. Every time they come anywhere near me I get the ultimate vip package & it NEVER gets old.
Glad you ladies enjoyed my request!!!!!! Learning the band members names will come with a few more reactions. Seems you gals are becoming "Home Fries"(The name of Home Free's Fans)!!!! I've been to a concert and it's an absolute blast!!!! Can't wait to see the next Live and reaction!!!!! Another suggestion is "Can't Stop The Feeling". It will let you really see there talents shine and be sure to watch the comments at the end!!!!!! Thanks in advance, Todd♥
Yes, they do choose which one fits the solos best, and go with them. As someone else mentioned, Austin flirting with the camera was because his fiance was there, in the studio, while he was shooting this. Usually, when they cover someone else's work, they show respect for the original, while still making it their own.
“Can’t Stop the Feeling”. I want to be at THAT summer party! They all have their own closeups, so it’s easy to tell them apart. Opening shot, left to right Austin - pretty, ponytail, patterned T Chance - white shirt, baseball cap, drives the boat Tim - bass, long dark hair, plain T Rob - glasses and beard, in black Adam - beats, fair, graphic T
You will have so much fun at the show! I have been to 3 of them so far, and it never gets old. Like Tim says.....it's not a concert....it's a party. And Home Fries are such nice people! Everyone treats it like we're old friends at a reunion. Dress casual (wear your Home Free shirt if you have one), and prepare to holler a lot. Have a blast!
Yes, this was one of the songs they did during the pandemic. These guys put out so much great work during the pandemic they really helped keep me sane.
So you're seeing them Dec 7th and I'm seeing them Dec 9th in Red Wing MN...can hardly wait! They are awesome live and you girls will have a great time!
Tim, the bass, had been after Austin to do this one for a good while…..&, finally convinced him his voice is perfect for the lead …. &, he IS 🫶🏼🙃‼️🎶💥🔥 … to our delight …. Pure ear Candy ❣️🫶🏼🔥🫶🏼❣️
This was during lockdown. For that whole affliction, they kept pumping out a new song and video every two weeks. You can tell because they are in separate images. Sometimes, like here, in screens mostly, others like Sea Shanty Medley, Down to the Honkytonk, Never Gonna Give You Up, Quarantine, or I Still Haven't Found What I am Looking For (with Peter Hollens and a lot of fans), the images are primary, but they are not in the images together.
Love the reaction. It's awesome that you're going to see them in December, because you get a mix of their covers, originals, and their Christmas songs. 😊
You are so right, they play to each others strengths. I believe Tim encouraged Austin to take the lead on this and his voice was perfect to carry the lead all the way, with the others just doing the backing vocals and what a wonderful job they all did. And can we just say what a fantastic job Adam did on the beat boxing / percussion on this as usual. Each of these guys are so talented and versatile and no egos; they can take turns in the lead. Austin pushed Rob to sing opera (Two County Singers Try Singing Opera, Nessun Dorma) and Rob said, Only if you sing it with me. As has been said many times, they sing all genres of music, not just Country and no matter what they sing, covers or originals, they do it more than justice. I know you will have a great time when you go to see them perform live. Love your reactions and look forward to your next.
Loved this reaction (as always)! I think you three might enjoy the Stargazer Trilogy by Home Free. The three songs were written by Austin about his feelings after a previous breakup, looking for, and finally finding his soulmate. They should be watched in order: Give Me A Sign Stargazer Lilies MR Other reactors have reacted to all three in one sitting. Not being a reactor, I have no idea if that's good or bad, easy or difficult, but as a viewer I thought it was cool. If you choose to react to this trilogy, pay special attention to the videos to know when he's dreaming and when it's real. These songs, together, get me in the feels every time. Enjoy, and thanks again for this reaction to When a Man Loves a Woman (which also gets me in the feels - especially when my wife and I listen/dance to it together
@@LeliawithImmediatelyyes Soon there will be choices to be made. Already, you probably can't keep up with all the requets people make. One small step at a time. We will go over the bridge when we reach the river. 👣
Y'all will have a blast at the concert! Fair warning - I hope you don't embarrass easily if you ask Tim that question. That exchange should be hilarious. 🤣🍟
First of all, CONGRATS ON 6.6K SUBS !!! 🎉🥂👏 You're going to be at 10k before you know it. Percy Sledge wrote this beautiful song and did a great job singing it, but he and Michael Bolton's versions both take a back seat to this version by Home Free imho. 🙌✌️
I totally agree. I heard the original again just the other day and was surprised to discover that what I remembered (from 50+ years ago) as being a powerful rendition was simply not that - especially after hearing this one.
Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. Drummers have often commented on just how realistic his sound is. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.
Oh! I would be excited to see your reaction video of the concert. VIPs need to show up earlier and you should get email info on that a few days prior so don't miss that. Tim's bass will rattle you, when he does the bass live, his lows are like a flamethrower of sound coming at you. Enjoy!
Yes, Austin is singing from personal experience, and Amberly was in the studio with him. The lyrics were also changed to make it a love song rather than a breakup ballad (and also to make sure that YT paid HF).
Great reaction y'all ❤ I'm so jealous you'll be seeing them soon. But please go and enjoy yourselves - for all of us who haven't seen them live yet. Any song they do is terrific and all their own!
Saw them in concert last year, you will love it! They are so funny and entertaining in concert. In the video Austin was singing to his girlfriend Amberly who was next to the camera.
As you now know, Home Free never disappoints! I agree next on the list: Can’t Stop the Feeling and Dreamer, LIVE at the Ryman (feat. Texas Hill) to get you ready for the concert, and to hear Tim introduce everyone!
"How low did your balls drop?" sounds like a perfect topic for "Story Time With Tim". Go ahead and ask it. They, especially Tim, can handle it. Their sense of humor can rival yours at times. At the very least, the rest of the guys will be forever grateful for something that good to whip Tim with every chance they get. 😎
How about that human drum kit? Adam never disappoints. My ears could not focus on the voices, with Adam wailing away on those drum notes. Great reaction ladies. I'm telling you these are nothing compared to a live show. it's going to be more like, how far will your uterus drop when Tim vibrates your body that close to the stage. Here's just a sample. enjoy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2eyBrIKfpco.html
No offence ladies - just a suggestion: to fully appreciate the subtleties of acapella you really do need headphones. It will still sound good without them but nowhere near as good as it will with them. Even earbuds or cheap headphones will give you far more of the acoustics & subharmonics.
