None of those people HAD to risk their safety in defying their questionably elected president but they did. Paulista was filled with Life and Liberty supporters. At least 750.00 people. That avenue is huge!

One correction: there were approximately 750,000 people protesting in São Paulo and not just 185,000, as reported in the video. This incorrect number of 185,000 people was announced by USP, a left-wing Brazilian university, which supports current president Lula. And the protest reached close to 3km, which is the whole length of Av. Paulista.

The Brazilian elections were strange to say the least. The Supreme Court vetoed the printed and auditable vote that Congress approved. Why do they do this, if it would bring much more security to the elections? It was the same Supreme Court that took Lula out of jail, annulling several cases on weak grounds of geographic jurisdiction. They fined the audit that was carried out by the PL, the president's party, which showed irregularities at the polls. They did not release the source code for the ballot boxes at the time of the elections, only releasing it many months later. There are many journalists imprisoned or exiled without their lawyers having full access to the case files. There are secret inquiries. There is a lot of censorship just against conservatives. All the corrupt people were released and today mothers, fathers, ordinary people are sentenced to sentences of 17 years, much longer than for crimes such as drug trafficking or murder. The alleged January 8 coup is a disgusting narrative that omits several important facts, such as the lack of security on the day and location and the absence of footage from more than 400 security cameras. There was also strong evidence that people linked to the government had vandalized all the buildings hours before the arrival of Bolsonaro supporters. Anyway, Brazil is not even remotely a democracy. There is no longer any rule of law in Brazil. And the mainstream media is complicit in all of this.

CORRECTION: There were actually more than 800K on the Paulista Avenue alone, but if we count those that remained mostly in the street that are immediately adjacent, there were altogether and any one time, more than 1 million people attending this rally. It was that much massive you could barely move through the crowd.
