I think it was mainly Gavin that was in pain.XD And then the Immersion before that, it was mainly Michael that was in pain cause he fell in that same damn hole like 3times.XD Overall, I think the pain woulda been worth it cause I woulda had a blast doin' this with all of Roosterteeth. lol

i thought it was common knowledge. That all FPS Heroes have a gun caddy. Its the gun caddies job, too have the weapons ready for the hero and loaded in some cases (when needed).

I did see one flaw, they were not combat ready, Doom Guy always has one weapon up and ready to blast demons. Also the books explain that the rocket launcher was a downsized design made by UAC that used battery sized rockets and the BFG was actually fairly light weight for it's size, that and the characters in the books would dump some weapons to make room for others. As for the rest it was accurate.

Real soldiers can wear up to 100 kg of gear (kit bag + weapons + ammunition). They're extremely fit and can probably lift most of the arsenal the Doom Guy has. However it is highly unlikely that you can just switch between said weapons on the fly while also running as fast as he did. It is a video game after all... where you kill demons. If we wanted authentic experience (to the letter) we would've joined the freaking army.

Now, this isn't strictly fair; Doom was set on Phobos and Deimos, which have so little gravity you could reach escape velocity by pedaling a bicycle off a ramp. You could lift all that stuff one-handed - all 184 pounds of it would weigh just 0.11 pounds on Phobos, and on Deimos they'd be just half of that.

Well, its possible that all the gear weighed him down enough to have a semblance of moon gravity, but the main kicker is that the UAC found out that while you are in hell, a "Hercules effect" permeats to any living thing there, causing all sorts of organisms to have boundless energy and never get tired (theres still the limit of how much you can actually carry, of course. Muscles, even with limitless energy, are still limited in strength).

He was a photographer in the Army. If I remember right, he was given the notice that his service was over about a week before 9/11 and he never re-enlisted.

You guys should make a video using strange video game items. See if snake oil or chewing tobacco improves weapon accuracy. If popping pain killers make you feel better after being punched in the face (somehow I feel Gus would be appropriate for this part of the experiment). Or if you feel less evil after telling off a cute puppy after eating a serving of tofu. I'm sure Rooster Teeth can think of many more awesome stuff to use.

I think DOOM was insanely more popular than Wolfenstein. Brings back some awesome memories spending a weekend at my friends house. 4 of us stayed up late because I got a copy of DOOM from my brother. We were getting loud so my friends dad came to check out what was going on. He actually stuck around until his mom came in the room at around 6am.

Like in Mythbusters where they tested Doom in real life, the person with military training does the best in this situation. Gus had a very low chance to surpass Geoff.
