This man gives himself completely to the song -- no false faces for a "performance", no coming out of himself -- just pure 100% emotion between himself, the lyrics and the melody.
It's originnaly Russian song sung by Alla pugachova. If you know Russian you'll understand that song is about artist who sold his home to buy million roses to the french actress he loved. The painters name was Niko Pirosmani he was Georgian painter and the story is legend that is really popular in Georgia. Alla Pugachova dedicated this song to her. In Korean version the original lyrics is changed but you can still fell how much he loved the girl :))
This is a Latvian song composed by Raimonds Pauls with lyrics by LEONS Briedis. It was made in 1981 in Mikrofona aptauja by Aija Kukula and Līga Kreicberga. The song is one of Paul's most popular songs. It was covered by several artists, in particular the Russian Alla Pugacheva in 1982 with texts by Andrei Voznesensky as "Million Scarlet Roses" (Russian: Миллион алых роз, Million alykh roz).
Пока не не спела Пугачева,на пронзительные стихи Вознесенского,эту песню и знать никто не знал с латышским текстом; так, по кабакам пели местные...Несмотря на бесподобную музыку Паулса!
I also finished watching My Mister, this song captured my attention and I know why, it’s a masterpiece so touching and vibrating makes me feel alive, I’m so grateful to My Mister for such wonderful songs
‼️ Just wanted you to know that this song was first written by the Latvian artist Raimonds Pauls in 1981. He has received the Order of the Rising Sun and Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon from the Japanese government TODAY!! 💖‼️
The man who sing the song has wonderful voice. When pitch is low, voice has power like heavy rain But when the pitch is high, Voice has different power like cold wind I can explain my feeling easily
Your description is so beautiful. Yes, indeed. Each of that rain drop falls heavily on my heart, brings tears in my eyes. Anyone who has loved would understand this feeling.
i watched this performance on KBS with my dad that year. He loved it. He passed on and this brings back real good memories of that moment. The best version ever.

Even his fellow perforners were sooo mesmerized by his singing and interpretation of the song, the passion, the intensity, that they all collectively dropped their jaw.... like WOW!! Out of this World!! 438 points - well deserved!!
Still the best cover version of this song... The performance, arrangement and singing gave more of a fantasy, dreamy and magical like vibe when listen to it...
The whole performance is an out-of-body experience. The musical arrangements, the stage, backdrop, the Red confetti falling, the timing of all movements were plsnned to perfection and the whole aymosphere csptured everyone's attention. I just wished all 500 audience voted. If only I could've voted from home!!

Но даже те корейцы, которые могут похвастаться знанием того, что это русская песня, считают её народной :( Впрочем, с готовностью соглашаются, что русский текст гораздо интересней, чем их история с маленьким принцем! JK поёт её теперь очень часто, что радует.
Alex Sidorov Koreans love Russian songs because Russian songs convey deep heart felt sorrow and sadness that can only be expressed by people who have had their heart ripped out by tragic circumstances and loss of dearly loved ones. It’s a Poetic way expressing ones sorrow and inconsolable sadness. For this reason I personally love this song myself.
@@uriilayda composer is latvian actually, but song in russian and singer - russian, and the song was written in soviet time, when Latvia and Russia were parts of one state. )
Quelle magnifique performance!
