July 2018 Elizabeth Kim (NLG) presents Tech with a Social Justice Activist Award for his works and artistic contributions. Kim also tells about (NLG) National Lawyers Guild and offers support to those doing the work. Christina Mansfield, co-fouder and co-Executive Director of Freedom For Immigrants.Org speaks to our current situation with Immigration in America and the work they are doing to represent and help as many families as they can reach to help reunite children and families and call for the immediate release of all children being locked in cages. Mansfield describes the bond process and therein offers people/viewers a way they can help directly. This fundraiser was specifically to raise more money for bonds, so that (FFI) and (NLG) can continue to help children and families being held in detention facilities.
