This song introduced me to Vinny when Martyr came out, so I was a late bloomer on violent by design, but better late than never! Love Tech and more for leading me to JMT, AOTP, and all involved! Lawrence Arnell's chours line on Ain't Shit Gonna Change became my life line religion after that!
Vinnie P is one of my favorites and one of my top 5. Dude slaughters any beat with lyrical percision that you rarely see now a days. He still is ripping in 2023
When I hear this, I feel like it’s a group of raiders chanting at me, telling me what they are going to do to me and my loved ones, getting me ready for combat. Excellent for the gym.
Thank god immortal technique is smart and ain't selling out, every rapper wants to go mainstream but not this dude, he wants to speak his mind, that don't happen when you go mainstream
Every bar in this song goes unbelievably hard. This is some insane shit you'd hear from like a ruthless warlord villain in a movie show or video game and people play music over them saying some sigma type shit. People are forgetting what immortal technique was saying with his music. This would disrupt the world today in a major way. I hope he's working on something new. The world has gotten even crazier since The Martyr dropped.
So I randomly decided to watch planet of the apes (older one) and recited the intro perfectly when the apes were talking scared the shit outta my girlfriend ahaha
I was playing this pretty loudly and my window was open and I ain't makin this up, a bunch of pigeons landed outside my window and sat there for the entire duration of the song
Can't decide who killed it more between Tech and Vinnie...but then again, doesn't really matter. This song has so much relevance right now that it's not even funny. Captures the anger that hovers in the atmosphere.
When you look at what's going on with the globe (Specifically Haiti, South America and Africa) this song aged like fine wine.. Revolution is coming. And it's gonna be bloody. Europe, Asia and North America will not escape the chaos. -It will spread.- It is spreading.
I always interpret this as being a song where each race shows it's barbarism. like immortals verse is about Nazis , Christianity , erasing cultures etc then the second verse Is about black men and their tribal traditions and invading. then the last verse makes references to Islam. I know all the rappers are black/mixed race but it's an interesting interpretation in my view .
Its been over 2 months now, the Coronavirus quarantine. Today the quarantine got rid of some restrictions. I started jogging in the park today, while listening to Immortal Tech. This song pumped me up badly. Adrenaline rushed through me and i started beating up other people who came too close. Im writing this from the police office, someone come bail me out pls.
been knowing this song since it released. alex jones brought me here again. he plays the beowulf song on his show, such a fitting theme for these times
Once i resurrect myself from hell and the apocalypse starts i will ride my pegasus through the fires of hell wearing speedos followed by my 1000 virgin female super soldiers smoking my 1kg joint holding a colossal juke box playing this song.
Okay, I usually hate rap music but this... it's perfect. Does this style have a specific genre other than gangster rap? Cause I'm really tired of rap songs being focused on pussy.
This is underground rap. Real rap these days is only found underground. According to immortal technique, "they" won't allow this type of music to become mainstream.
There were black vikings called dubh-gals or dubh-Gaills translated as Black strangers and Dubh-Ghenti or Black Gentiles. So when you see a black man Idris Elba (stringer bell from the wire) playing Heimdall in the Thor movie, don't think it is just about PC.... they are showing a little bit of your history but not all PAY ATTENTION. Hollywood loves to shows things in codes like how they would show a black president before barack obama (played by morgan freeman in deep impact) PAY ATTENTION.
Stop calling real MCs as rappers. its disrespectful kid. straight up there is a huge difference between rap and hiphop, or rappers and MCs. And about you saying everyone wants to go mainstream, that's just ignorant to say. The only way you can say that is if you only know the mainstream scene and the average wack kids that everyone on the a dumbed down sheeple level of consciousness knows about. What about real hiphop MCs on wax like esoteric and virtuoso and eyedea. they deserve same love as IT
Does anyone know where I can LEGALLY download the instrumental version of this song?/Alguien sabe donde puedo bajar LEGALMENTE la version instrumental de esta cancion?
