These tips are mostly just 'the basics' that you quickly learn just from playing, rather than 'things I wish I knew'. My top tips would be to throw boulders at big enemies, especially cyclopes, who throw boulders at you. Just catch it in mid air and throw it back at him. By far the best way to damage that paticular enemy. Also, start Aphrodite's questline asap. The first blessing she gives you is super handy when you still only have a small health bar and low potion capacity.. Also, if you see baddies standing in a group, try a sneak attack. It actually has a wide area of effect, so you can insta-kill 2 or 3 mooks at once.
Cool tips ,I just started playing the game , brought it on sale with Al, the dlc , I'm actually enjoying it ,its good fun , I am stuck on the tears of aphrodite missing I can not find the tears nowhere ,it's really passing me off
Dodge doesn't use stamina. You have 3 to 5 consecutive dodges before a short cooldown, I think half of 1 second. Absolutely one of my favorite things about the game.
Well the title does say top 10 things he wish he knew before playing the game. So maybe this video is for people who have not played it yet, and these are things perhaps they might want to know before playing. I have not played it, and this was exactly the video I was looking for to tell me a bit about it before playing
Cut grass for materials, chop down trees, always use far sight, level up your telekinesis ability (forgot the name) cause itll be easier completing puzzles carrying heavier objects, level up your sword and armor first, and always make potions and upgrade the attack and defense potions.
So this vid was borderline useless. Things you *wished* you knew before starting entails decisions made that you would make differently playing again. EXAMPLE: when upgrading potions, don't focus health potion for a while because you won't have the health bars to justify the upgrade. Instead, focus upgrading the other 3. Especially stamina upgrading both weapons and armor require blue shards and getting your gear to lvl 4 unlocks a 2nd ability. But the shard cost from lvl 3 to 4 is 5k blue shards. So don't try to level the sword/axe/helm/chest evenly because it will take you a VERY long time to get the shards just to get 1 piece of gear to lvl 4. So pick 1 gear piece and focus it entirely till lvl 4 then move on to another. I would NOT try to venture the entire map as soon as you can because your stamina is at its lowest, and you may not have Ares God ability (which can act as a triple jump) but even if you DID have it, you wouldn't have the stamina to use it adequately. And if you don't have an epic mount yet which would provide 3 bars of stamina to running. What I *would* advise is if there is a vault that is somewhere within a couple of hundred meters of wherever you are, venture out to it since vaults can be used as fast travel spots
Fun fact/Tip Stronger and bigger enemies will throw small and large rocks at you. When they do this you can use ur Herkules strength to grab it mid air and throw it back at them. You only do large rocks if they have the upgrade.
Farming pomegranates: go to the valley of eternal spring, look for forests (they’re everywhere) then look for thick twisted trees. Hit these trees with your axe and viola instant health source. Wildlife Guide: Bears and warthogs are friendly, respect nature and it respects you. These animals will show dominance ex: bear will stamp its paws on the ground. When this happens simply walk away. This isn’t the same in all cases though, if you see a purple or red/orange glowing light on the backs of these animals they are corrupted and hostile. Like this comment so the noobs can see 👍
Another thing (this isn’t really a tip just something to note) if you like the way on armor looks but get an armor that looks worse but has a better perk you can customize the look of that armor while keeping the perk
Game is Fantastic! Such a breath of fresh air. I was skeptical even after I bought it but was immediately pleasantly surprised and having a ton of fun.
I was not immediately hooked.. I was getting my ass kicked by some of the tougher enemies (like those minotaur things), so I was often avoiding combat. But after you level up a bit, it's not so brutal, and the game is a lot of fun and verry pretty. Puzzles are not *too* dificult, I don't often get stuck for long. I'm playing it every day at the moment.
Got this as a gift as well. So disappointed it almost made me sick. Every 2 min I find another bug in the game. From controller mechanics to falling through 90% of the map. Can't find support for the game so straight to the trash bin it goes.
Yep my sentiments exactly. I always can tell when these "tip" videos are bullshit when the first tip for an open world game is "hey you should check out that open world there."
@@nirvanaimpala no it's not, i think it's a little harder mate, but of course i play games mainly on hard difficulty, so maybe on easy it would be alot easier. either way, if you like fantasy games, you should absolutely try this
@@nirvanaimpala yeah same. I'm glad you're enjoying the game though. Its honestly tons of fun. Especially when you figure out all the ways you can cheese fights
I jumped into this game n haven't stopped falling one tip I would say thats super important is collect spend the time stripping trees of all pomegranate n look for all the blue shrooms collecting those essential I suggest once you really have full choice hunting ambrosia and completing vaults to at least add health and stamina chunks also coins for upgrades start collecting All before upgrading so immense a game season pass well worth it if it is half what they boast with the 3 dlcs $100 is worth literal hundreds of hours thank you Ubisoft
Yeah...less than a minute in, and I have decided not to give this person any more of MY view time! They are literally just pushing out content to have content....and indeed, they are telling us to do things you learn from the game within the first HOUR. Get real, KhrazeGaming...don't just push out videos just so you have content. Try actually putting out some that people can ENJOY, or at least get some USE out of!
He has some fantastic value. I have followed him through several games, ie No Man's Sky. He can give great info too. This was geared to the very beginning of the game. And too to those who have yet to get the game & want to understand how the game works
Same, I'm loving it. I went through 2 bosses without using far sight and still enjoyed the crap out of it even though I was unintentionally gimped. Now that I have used it it's total easy mode in comparison
A tip... try to start every vault you come across.. next time you can teleport to specific areas by selecting the vault near the area you want. NOTE I’m not sure if you have to get the lightning at the end of the vault or just start the vault
@@I_was_a_Bullfrog you just go and do the things that pop up in a list of order, you do not really explore, you are just "i go there because the map says so" and not because you wanted to out of curiousity.
A masterpiece 🌟 As a new Nintendo Switch player, I was skeptical even after I bought the Golden Edition. I've spent 10 hours in this game and absolutely absorbed myself in. It's may bizarre but the thing I love the most is the characters English accent. Seem like Ubisoft are using Greek English instead of the international accent. It's small but very detailed to show how the developers dedicated to the game 🌟💖👏🏻
It shouldn't have to be said yes. But a lot of people get that tunnel vision and just plow thru the game missing a ton of shit in the process, then whine about it later on on forums and such. Don't get me wrong, I mostly agree with you but you get what I'm saying.
...and a detail I like, turning off the hud, using the zoom/telescope while riding a horse is basiclly a first person option, at least untill until you go into combat.
Currently playing valhalla and this. Both so similar it's like they copy and pasted it. Not complaining as I love they both and it's nice to transition between the 2.
I should've watched this a long time ago. I had no idea about shining and targeting marking. I hadn't touched this game in months after being addicted. Time to play it again. What? I had no idea I break the trees too.
Tip...Parrying is useless and you basically only need to do it during one part of a quest... Tip...Perfect dodge is the best way to stay on top and destroy the enemies Final tip...Parry is useless
The games really cool its got a childist twist to it so it makes it different from god of war i see BOTW similarities but that just makes it cooler really enjoying it good game 🔟 outta 🔟
Excellent video. I'm usually compelled to play these at faster speeds because so many uploaders babble in slow motion for 20 minutes to cover 3 obvious tips. Your video is the opposite... concise yet robust. I almost had to slow it down because you covered so much material at breakneck speed! Thank you!! P. S. Did you actually enjoy this game? I just finished Zelda: BotW and in all honesty, this is a bit of a letdown. I'm only about 2 hours in so I'll give it another chance but I may just go back to Zelda for master mode!!
The first tip: buy the game..2) load the game and don’t forget to update the game with patches 3) start the game after choosing the right settings 4) play the game ...
There seems like there’s a lot to this game tbh I hadn’t played through it as of yet but I do now have the season pass for a rainy day.. I really like mythological themes.. I suppose this is Ubisofts take on it..
Been playing this game for a few days I’m most of the way through it and I only just found out how to upgrade your stuff I paid no attention to the tutorial
Only tip you need to know: DO NOT PLAY VAULTS!!! They are boring, hard, frustrating and they will ruin the game for you. You do not get anything useful in vaults. Only thing you get is zeus lightning for stamina but you do not need it that much. You can get zeus lightning on other locations. Complete the main story, complete chests, ambrosia, constelations and hidden quests. If you want trophies then return to vaults after you complete everything.
They aren’t hard. I’ve done loads of 3-rated difficulty ones and not one has caused me much of a problem. Same with the larger vaults for the God essences.
I'm enjoying it much more than BOTW, it has more personality. BOTW was good, but felt so empty and barren. I get the world had ended, but other games have done that without it feeling empty before.
If they make it like Hyrule Warriors (which is not a bad game by any means they just switched up a lot of the core elements) that's going to be a no for me dawg
There are ALOT of different currencies for each stat or weapon or potion etc you want to upgrade so you don’t have to choose since they all use different things
@@mix1608 I get that, but is there enough currency for each thing that you can get every single upgrade or do you have to pick and choose which would benefit your play style the most?
@@matthewwilliams8244 the point i was making is that since everything uses different currencies you dont have to choose. you can upgrade everything at once. the only overlap is with weapons sharing the same currency and armor doing the same
My only gripe so far is that the potion cauldron isn't very accessible. Like if I'm in the middle of nowhere, I have to go back to the hall of the gods and when done, I would have to climb up wherever I was before. Ugh such a waste of time
Is there a slider to set those damage numbers off? And maybe the huge blue meter stamina off since sometimes it's even bigger than the character itself as well.
...and a detail I like, turning off the hud, using the zoom/telescope while riding a horse is basiclly a first person option, at least untill until you go into combat.
I am enjoying it but I am so terrible. There is a reason I don't play platformers and I am having so much issues getting chests in the vaults. I am just terrible at jumping. Apart from that its fun.
oh that is so freaking cool The far side ability to reveal things so they have a little marker on them and it will tell you oh you're like 100 ft away from the marker Nintendo you should have done that in the making of legend of Zelda breath of the wild well since you are coming out with breath of the wild two learn something from this game who wants markers all over the map of breath of the wild two or as that as an option I'm just wondering man immortal Phoenix the game would be nice to add in my app tray in the main menu of my Nintendo switch but I need a one TB microSD card I'm running out of space
It will upgrade substantially with the second wing piece. Plus some require skill upgrades. I have trouble to, especially at first making those da*n jumps. Now though much easier. But of course the vaults get more difficult! The live task timed vault is a huge mystery to me, I have no idea how to start it off (once inside). So much frustration
So to unlock the second perk on an item (the one with the lock symbol & #4) do I upgrade that item or the items category? You can do both, correct? So wasn't sure which unlocks the locked perk
If you are playing the game you probably already know by now, but still... You upgrade the category, there is no upgrading individual weapons. At first, it may look like it because there are cosmetic options to each weapon, but they are just that.
Yes, though the Electrum you win and the Premium currency are 2 separate things (one earned in game, the other from paying money). But in the Hermes shop you find the same items rotating daily/weekly from the paid ones.
You'll have to explore there are crystal chunks around the map they are the size of the ambrosia chunks but they are color cordinated aka red, blue, and etc
Hey I had this problem but found out you go into the Store tab then go to Owned. Then you select everything there and they appear in the Appearance section of your weapons and armor and stuff. It’s not actually standalone weapons and armor. Just skins.
You learn all of this by playing. There is no point in knowing this before you play. It’s like saying I wish I knew these 10 French words before starting to learn French. Waste of time.
These aren't tips and tricks at all. Things like opening chests, increasing health, using weapons are just absolutely basic gameplay elements. He might as well be saying "kill bad guys" as a tip. Totally misleading video title.
I'm playing Genshin Impact for 4 days now cause I don't have the money to buy this. (I only buy during sale and will pick this up next year maybe, after Valhalla goes to sale)
In the Gods' chatting, they kinda give you a hint where they think you should go, but all said you don't have to even ever do the quests. I mean, that'd be odd, but just saying there is lots to choose from to do. So yeah, map marks quests, challenges (puzzles and such) and side quests. It's all up to you when and where you go
