Excellent, Dr. Campbell! Two thumbs up, way up. Well done. You taught me in 20 minutes what I couldn't learn in 2 hours of reading and internet searching.
Dr.Camb Bell I am not a medical student. I regularly watch your vedios. Your way of presentation is excellent. I am very greatful to you. God bless you Dr.
I have had, high white blood cell counts. For Over 3 Years. I don't have a cold or flu . I go for more blood work in 3 week's. Then The Blood Specialist. I don't have medical insurance.

I am taking HYDROXYUREA, 500 mg 2 cap a day for 5 days. HYDROXYUREA also lowers my white and red BLOOD CELLS COUNTS. I have been experiencing HEART PALPITATIONS and CHEST Pains and my Hematologist is not concerned. I just went to ER last Saturday and the diagnosis is ANEMIA and Leukopenia.
An immune system that didn't devise interpenetrating immune cells that can diffuse into infected cells to therein attack are a sin of a limit on sophistication. All this seems to point to the central importance of the skeletal system in immunity.
Dr. Campbell, my wbc count is 2900. Is it possible that i have a low normal range (but healthy), or does it definitely mean i am immuno compromised? I haven't experienced any of the typical symptoms. Thanks!
Please clarify. You mention macrophages when describing granulocytes, specifically neutrophils. Then you mention them again as Agranulocytes . I can rationalise this as some form of communication between the innate and the “acquired immune” cells. But I’m confused
I've seen video after video on youtube explaining biology and while they all have their good points, they all lack a good overview. It's always seem like a topsy-turvy way of explaining things that has no clear direction or approach. Your videos explain it all with clarity even without the colourful animated graphics!! I keep coming back to your vids for that reason. You know what they say about 'all form no substance'? That's all the other videos. 21:53 "We depend on our white cells, all the time, to keep us alive". Long serious stare. 22:25 sound of an ambulance.
Getting quite is one of the biggest frustrations, its not so much the noise, but it puts me off my concentration, trying to get all of the words right is hard at the best of times. Drives me mad sometimes.
my mother whom is 30 have high white blood cell count and low red blood cell count and a large nodule on her throat.I went with her to the EMT he performed a biopsy he said it was the strangest nodule he had ever seen as far as he could tell it was byline as far as he could tell.he recommended surgery asap he said he wanted to remove he mass ans everything around it as much as he could then he said it was was gonna come back it was just a matter of time. I dont understand why it would come back if he removes it?could you give me your opinion plz
+Tiger Eye Im sorry your mother is unwell. From what you say, it is not possible to say what is the problem. Have you been able to ask a qualified doctor what is best to do. They will have access to the results of the blood tests and biopsy.
One question bothers me as to why rbc and platelets do not leak out throug capillary and why only wbc's. Kindly answer. Any one from the comment section are equally welcomed.
the capillary walls have cells with have fairly tight junctions so the red cells cant get out. The white cells can become long and thin and squeeze out.
@@sushmika1435 Thats the nature of autoimmune disease, its an error of physiology, a pathophysiology process. I don't fully understand it myself.Im not sure anyone does.
