Upgraded from an older 18v kit. ru-vid.comUgkxW1vOBRCMrgTCDEijzpVzDWsgI-Jm2iQv I independently chose the drill and impact tool, before I came across the kit.I like the 3 speed impact gun. It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. I rather have a smaller drill like this, and then get a corded hammer drill for the odd case I need that.
It’s ok if you are using it at home u will need a breaker bar for some bolts for 60 pounds impact drive 4 Amp battery and charger it’s not bad + Lidl sell the battery packs for a good price if u need a new battery after a few years , once u have the battery and charger you can pick up other tools that are sold as body only for a very good price drill grinder compressor and much more but if you want a good impact it’s the Milwaukee 2767-20 , if u have a garage Snapon CT8850,
I have a milwaukee 1/2 drive served me well one day something happened I don't know what thought it was the battery bought a new one made no difference it could tighten but not loosen well any who was in lidl one Thursday morning didn't even know they did a 1/2 impact bought it and must say it is better than the milwaukee mind you I bought the milwaukee back in like 2009 I'm sure there much better now. On a side note I used a friend's Hitachi hex impact on site driving 8inch bolt's it was like knife through butter it's really amazing how good all these tools work the air compressor is almost obsolete.
I got the dewalt 1600 nm impact because i already had two 5ah dewalt batteries from another tool but if i fpund this at lidil i might have bought this one and saved some money. Nowhere as powerful as dewalt but probably will do most jobs on a car
I got one of these and it's really good. Great price too. Aldi do their version for the same price but it's only 180 nm. Parkside stuff is good for the DIY dude.
good review😎 the sockets that come with it reduce it's power output as they are not a good fit and they rattle use shorter quality sockets and you will notice and massive difference 😀
Yes, force is given by mass and acceleration so basically a hard material produces higher acceleration (deceleration) so a harer socket, harder stud and disc rotor (the studs are bolted into the discs) and a higher mass of the disc produce a greater torque for the same impact gun
How do the sockets stay on mine just fall off. I didn't see this guy putting a pin in either. Do I need a hog ring replaced. I haven't been able to use mine

@@rotorblade9508 None of that pseudoscience at all! It's just the contact areas and that the socket doesn't deform during the impact. The mass is standing, so a heavier socket would actually hinder acceleration, if it did anything noticeable, that is.
Hi Robert, nice to see you here :-) I read complains on the Lidl site about loosening wheel bolts. When the are tightened with 120NM, only the 400NM stand on the Parkside will get them loose. And tightning with 100NM would be around 75NM. But you're using it on your work, so I'm curious about your opinion.
the black parkside performance model is an animal of a wrench !!! take tractor wheel nuts out with em .... never seen a performance in the UK .. I think they sell them in Europe . it's a serious bit of kit !!!!
Its currently available again at LIDL and I have just bought one (model 2021 ASSK 20-Li A1). After many comments here and at the lidl online shop, I was very curious. After a test I can now say: The thing has POWER !! If your device does not open the bolts on your wheels, you are either doing something wrong or you have a defective device.
@@MakeAndTest Exactly, an impact needs some time. Maybe some people expect it to work like a regular screw driver? Well, it doesn't :D Seriously these Lidl things are great for occasional use
I bought one, works fine. The circlip socket retainer isn't very good. I'll get a couple of ball bearings and a suitable spring and fit one, easy enough...
Got mine a month ago and tested it yesterday on some brakes job and i was disappointed with it because looks like the mechanism starts to slip somehow when it's not perfectly aligned, i dont know how it works but the bolt goes easily for a second and then the next second impacting sound changes and the bolt just stays in place and then if you wiggle the tool a little bit the impacting sound goes back to normal and the bolt goes normally again for 1-2 seconds until it stops again. That was super annoying and i had to undo the bolt with hands. Probably defective device or something
Good review. With proper impact socket cr-m not original cr-v ones it produces 300+ nm torque. Not 400nm as claimed but still good enough for the money.
@@derbigpr500 you bet its not overkill... tire shops sometimes overtorque wheel bolts to 300+ nm. Good luck removing them by hand without long bar. This wrench is not strong enough for that. And you always need more torque because tightening torque is always way less.
Good review, I bought the very same one in Lidl last week, so far it has worked the charm, my only complains are that it is not a brushless motor and theres no locking ball for the sockets (there is a locking ring tho, and I have not had any sockets fall off either, so not the biggest issue), but I mean for the price, those are easy to live with....anyway....Subscribed!
Yeah I noticed that sparks are shining inside the machine when you suddenly stop it. I just dont understand why are there differences in prices. I paid 79€ some say it was only 59€...
It is useless for a car wheels removal, 5 out of ten screws won't be removed without breaker bar. Works good on recently mounted maybe greased screws up to M12 thread torqued up to spec or lower. If you would mainly use this for car wheels removal or similar jobs, save up some money and search for min 600+Nm. Good value for small bolts though....
Great video, the torque settings are not true. As a example you would never torque your car wheel nuts more than 120 NM in a majority of vehicles otherwise you can snap the wheel bolt. It makes sense to buy a proper brand like Milwaukee.
The 20v range is the bomb, I've collected quite a few of them 14 battery's the first set of 2018 batteries work just a good as new and I use them all the time. Parkside make dam good tools the 4 in one looks flimsy but its pretty handy I use the saw all the time
There's nothing really wrong with the tools and they are priced well, however they are same Chinese made generic tools that are also sold under many different brands such as Stanley, silverline to name afew
I have bought this from lidl, it's worth every penny , forget all the barmy demonstrations showing it wont tighten or undo to 400 nm, we're not building bloody battle ships, its got more than enough torque for what its intended for .
I was able to hold the socket in my hand while trying to simulate fastening/releasing wheel nuts. Even on max setting of 400 NM, it was possible to hold the socket by firm hand grip, and this just does not meet my expectations. As I always tighten wheel nuts manually using spanner I have a feel how tight they should be. Rarely using torque wrench. Tried the tool on my wheels bolts and it was not possible to release any bolts I had tightened with spanner, torque on the tool was on max setting of "400 NM" but it was not possible to release any. Will continue to use my trusty spanner and this impact wrench will go back to the shop. I like to trust my hands instead.
@@gardenfeed9249 I have the basic model and I would pay for seeing a show where a weakling who makes up BS stories on YT tries to hold that down with their hands... And I'd love to know the brand of gloves if that actually worked out. And yes, I've just made a socket pretty hot trying to give that story a shot. Seriously, you didn't xD
I agree, don't use this to tighten the nuts, previous mechanic tighten my car wheels with impact wrench and when I went to change tyres, tyre shop had a hard time removing the nuts.
I thought you were going to try the crankshaft pulley bolt at the end! Oh well! I think I`ll stick to my Makita 1000nm impact wrench, costs a lot more, but MUCH stronger, will last MUCH longer, & the batteries & chargers will be available, anywhere, for decades..
Too right I've seen a chrome socket explode when trying to remove a seized axel nut, it was like a grenade 3 of us up close just staring seeing if it'll work luckily no one lost an eye or a nose all that was left was the bottom half, it was a decent socket Halfords brand. Impact for impact they are softer and will wear faster but jesus they are safer
I compared the torque from this thing to a torque wrench. The torque is not half as high as declared. 400 Nm is not even 200 Nm when loosening and tightening. 200 Nm setting is only 90 Nm. If wheel screws are rusty you can be lucky if you can loosen them. I also own the smaller version of this impact driver. Parkside says 180 Nm. Even if I use the shock adapter of milwaukee I can't loosen a screw what is tighten with 50 Nm.
something is wrong with your unit, or you are using it with a 2Amp battery instead of 4.. I tested mine and it's very close to the advertised numbers (+- 5%)
Insane Builds I Appreciate the response. I was joking, there is a channel called AvE where the creator opens his brand new tools and other items he tests in potentially damaging ways often using saws.
Yeah I know I messed that up a little bit. But I had to test it on a much bigger number than just 100Nm. Also I dont really care about my car anymore, so it can take a beating :)
do you mind to make some video and release the bolt of front strut ( it is m21 tight at 165 nm, two bolt on bottom side of the strut), also is it possible to release the suspension bolt, the center bolt of front tire

@@MakeAndTest does youres sort of spin on the anvil, I have the smaller lidil impact gun and its much better in its design, maybe I need a new hog ring friction ring
