Hello viewers, thanks for watching. This was a lil' video I made for my audio engineering class. The objective was to briefly summarize and make a video of a topic we learned in the class. I never expected this video to get any sort of viewership, and I apologize if the video isn't helpful for anyone studying electricity. I simply uploaded the video so I could just play it from RU-vid for my class. From 2018 to now, my knowledge of electricity has grown, and I'm willing to make an improved version of this video, so subscribe if you'd like to see it! I'm also aware that theres some copied jokes from egoraptor, but in the description I clarify this is a parody of his sequelitis videos. I'm a big fan!
Dude you just dropped one amazing video and then didn't upload any more in 5 years, THE UNIVERSE NEEDS YOU MAN! Pleaseeeee make more of these, I am about to finish my college degree but the future generations would be lucky to have more videos like this explaining things simply💖
Of the over 100+ hours I've spent researching impedance and trying to get just a basic clear explanation of it, I can honestly say this has probably come the closest. Good for a laugh too. Keep it up!
Simple concept of impedance: Imagine you're playing with water flowing through a bunch of pipes. Now, think of impedance like the pipes being twisty, narrow, or bumpy. These things make it harder for the water to flow smoothly. In a circuit, impedance is like those twists and bumps but for electricity instead of water. It's what makes it a bit tricky for electricity to move around smoothly in the wires. So, just like you'd feel resistance when pushing water through a twisty pipe, electricity feels impedance when flowing through a circuit.
More explanation and less jokes would have been more useful! I think the target audience of the humor is people who already know what impedance is. That's often not the people who clicked on the video...
yeah ok, but you just explained resistance, and thats not hard of a concept for anyone to grasp. What i was expecting for you to explain, as i think most people did, was the difference between impedance and resistance
The dual aspect concept of Impedance is what enables dc resistive circuit analysis to apply to ac circuits with inductors and capacitors. The dual aspects of impedance being the effect of inductors and capacitors on both magnitude and phase of voltage drop across them in circuits having sinusoidal ac sources in them.
Bruh. I wished you were my professor at Uni. Not to throw shade on them professors but sitting through those Electrical courses was a snooze fest. Anyway, thanks for the info, the jokes, the memes and everything else. Keep making these my dude.
IMPEDANCE IS THE COMBINATION OF RESISTANCE AND REACTANCE, how do I know that? I copy your question and paste it, and a whole bunch of videos came out explaining, is not that I actually knew it, but I learned that thanks to that question of yours, to the simple naked eye sound and looks irrelevant, your question that is, but is not, is actually a hell of a question, full of other information useful to me since I'm gathering everything I can, I'm trying to open a small business selling music gear and I don't wanna be the one who don't know the info about speakers and such, thank you for providing you must be one of those geniuses trying to help but the subject is just too complicated for people to actually get the message.
Hmmm, try saying that impedance is nothing more complicated AC resistance in your written exam. The video is flippant and funny, I get it. But impedance is not a trivial issue for audio or electrical engineers. Making it out to be does nobody any favours.
If this video’s script and animations aren’t a “homage” to Aaron Hanson aka Egoraptor, I’ll be damned. Though I would have thought this without plagiarising his exact gags though; that was kinda lame. Great video regardless!
Thank you for explaining the definition of a word with the definition of words. Making complete sentences sound like sentences. Making sense of it all by simple sentences. Creator of his own logic but follows no rules. A rebel, an outcast or maybe just 🤔..........
