Reminded me of that one time where family friendly minecraft youtubers accidentally called their group-within-a-group "axis" cause they wanted to build sideways and upside down.
Personally, im fascinated with bactria (of course im a bit biased since im Greek). I believe it might be one of the most interesting nations throughout all of history, it honestly feels as if it came out of a fantasy novel as a concept and there is so much that someone can do with this nation in a game. Great video once again, immaculate story telling as always.
This was the best of all SS videos on Imperator. I've never played this game and don't know all the intricacies etc. But omg, I bought this game straight after this video. Amazing storytelling. PLEASE CONTINUE!!!
I love the fact you play different countries in all these strategy games. I hope you continue with imperator, and try Epirus with Pyrrhus. I know you will do great and restore the true heirs of Alexander's empire
Seeing Bactria in the title, but not the "Imperator Rome" part I thought it's a continuation of that Mughal Empire Story you've made some time ago on CK3 lol.
Loved the video, hope to see continuation, but... 100k concurrent players would place this game on third place of Steam after CS and PUBG. Idk if ANY PDX grand strategy has that level of playerbase. So yeah, it'll definitely prompt devs to support Imperator. But it's impossible number.
Im a tajik from northern afghanistan and i've always been interested in Bactria. My family comes from the city of Bactra which is known as Balkh today!
I don't see Imperator getting 100k players- It doesn't even have 1.5k right now. I remember really liking it at launch (as an avid EU fan), and the updates were great towards the end, but after 125 hours played it just fizzled out. The base is good, but there just isn't enough variety to keep playing imo.
Yeah it’s definitely just a meme tbh, BUT it definitely hit a new peak which hasn’t been seen in a long time, so it was cool to see so many people playing the game
This is a great GigaChad Story, Mr. Tarkuskar. I didn't know making Imperator: Rome would be the perfect choice for a GigaChad Story, but you did it again. I can't wait to see more of it, but I like how Bactria becomes a mega empire, surpasses Alexander the Great's Empire, and dreams of taking the Indus River. Also, have you seen my other comments from the GigaChad Story video? But so far, this is a terrific video, my friend. Keep up the great work, and no matter what happens or what anybody says, you are worthy of respect and recognition. I really mean it! Also, what do you think about a GigaChad Story CK3 on Japan where Oda Nobunaga survived his assassination attempts on his life and became Chancellor of the Realms and the first Shogun of Japan? What if Japan becomes The Greater Empire of Yamato, where they replace the Ming and have the Emperor of Japan become the Heavenly Emperor Mandate of Heaven? What do you think of that idea, Mr. Tarkusarkusar? Sounds interesting to you? And what do you think of a GigaChad Indo-Roman Empire where India is unified by the Marathas ( who happen to be the ones who defeated the Mughals during the Mughals- Martha Conflict) and forms Greater India and takes on Byzantium. Or do you prefer an Indo-Britinna GigaChad Story campaign where a younger prince from the Newalkar Dynasty ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newalkar) who ruled the Kingdom of Jhansi ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jhansi_State) who happens to be an excellent leader and skilled warrior and set on unifying the English Isles to become Samrat of Britannia and ensure a new legacy and era of a golden age? Which of these ideas do you like best, Mr. Tarkusarkuar? And why?
What Imperator makes more interesting than any other paradox game is the intersection between pop culture, religion and class, against the laws of the state. It has a massive impact on the state religion, the economy, and military. It is highly dynamic and highly influenceable by the player and the start state is baked into the map. Perfect sandbox. It’s really sad that this wasn’t popular. I love the game. If this strength had been leverage and endlessly expanded by dlc, we could have had such an endlessly fascinating game.
Bactria is fun in Ck3 too, I larped as restoring the Macedoniam Empire with them. Made my own hybrid buddhist hellenic religion and my afghan greek culture
@@just_addd_water_to_your_ramen You could do it as the Bukhara Khuda familly (in the Samanid kingdom) he is a count near Bukhara. n fact he has a claim as his familly was governor of the city before the Samanid conquest (And the special monument in Bukhara was build by them)
@@just_addd_water_to_your_ramen Maybe one of the two last Zunbils in the duchy of sistan. They are secretly Zunist but you'll have to convert to Zoroastrism or Buddhism to take the decision to form Bactria but a Zunist Bactria seems fun or If you want an achevement you can go with the duke of Ghur, he is Buddist at the game start in 800 or Muslim in 1066 and you can have the achevement The rise of the Ghurids if you expand in india like they did IRL
