If it wasn't for the chaos space marines, the dark eldar, and tyranids, I'd sign up. But since I don't want to be tortured to death over the span of 10,000 years only to have my soul eaten and tortured then revived just to be tortured some more, I'm going to avoid my local recruiter like Nurgle's plagues.
Off topic, I agree. But, I watched the original "Transformers" with the Grandchildren. The military battle scenes were enough to make me do another 20! hahahahaha
Oh the promises the recruiters made about glory and purpose, then stick you on a backwater hive 200 feet into the rock beneath it, cleaning sewage pipes miles long with a servitor covered in poop Also could be in the front lines of a battle against the world eaters or tzeench demons with a 200 year old las rifle with half a charged magazine and the commissar with a bolt pistol pointed at you😂
Volunteering for the Space Marines will be difficult without something in your curriculim vitae like "spent 5 years in the Slave Pits of Xatarax, spinning a wheel around, then climbed out" or "saved my town from an orc warband single-handedly at the age of 15 ":D By the way, can one even volunteer for the sisters of battle? Or do they just look for suitable orphans and take them?
That's the brilliant and especially so with the ending text...well at least I get to see Cadia....for a bit. Also the start up sequence, Litany of Protection Recited: Malware Demons Banished....great imagination for how the Imperium would understand technology...
1:30 if by my fathers blessings or my brothers chapter Masters you are chosen to be one of his most elite fighting force the imperium have, you shall become my son or nephew, you shall be the defender of mankind
@@jestertheslacker Ah, I saw it years ago. This was when i was young and before I discovered WH40K so I mostly remember it as a kind of goofy scifi action film. I have a feeling I'll see another perspective now. Thanks for the recommendation.
