First... a criticism. @0:14 Birds are flying over the base... from the camera angle they are between the viewer and the ocean. The ocean contains a reflection of the star... and the birds disappear _behind_ the reflection. This is a mistake which should have been caught during the editing process. Now, the sound design... Great synchronicity with the final decent activated the final stabilizers just before the landing pads touched down. I like how the shuttle's primary engines shut off, allowing the repulsors, and momentum, take it to its landing spot. The patrol fighters being off screen added more to the scene. Their addition makes it feel like this is a busy military base with more things going on than what is shown. Well done.
