I will never forgive that convention center, that we don’t even need, for destroying the Riviera. What was once a glowing neon facade (will be) a boring expansion to the convention center, of course infested with furries, cosplayers and people that didn’t need to take down our beautiful Riviera

I watched it from the Peppermills parking lot. The implosion made everyone instantly turn into Ric Flair. Everyone stood around going, "Woooooo!"

It’s crazy to see that lil firework countdown.. compared to what we can do now lol

10,000 to 12,000 shots in 3 minutes! Very loud 1.3g fireworks before the implosion!!!

And we now only have 4 original las vegas hotels 1. The Flamingo 2. The Tropicana 3. Caesars Palace 4. Circus Circus And i don't think the flamingo wont go down for about 20-30 years and circus circus is staying cause of the kids

The Riviera was such a beautiful casino and hotel when I was there in 2006 I seen one remaining towers. It was the main one with all the lights. It’s so sad that Las Vegas is trying to erase its mob history

our country literally has zero respect for history. with all of the wasteland desert in Las Vegas why can't they build the new stuff in another location. Why does history have to be destroyed?
