I never get tired of watching the surgical precision of how you are able to take a building down in seconds when it takes us years to put them together. Great work!!!
CDI again delivering another banger (well technically 3 lol) I love all the B-Roll and informational introduction. The demolitions once again looked flawless from an outsiders perspective, the way the buildings fell once again looked so satisfying. I once again found myself clapping after all buildings went down. Bit of a shame that that the camera at 9:00 felt like going out of focus in the most important moment. Love it 👌
I've said it many times, but I simply love to see when the buildings are coming down how the glass sparkles like diamonds! Such a pretty sight considering a building is coming down forever.

I retired from UTSW in 2020, I spent innumerable hours in these buildings over 32 years. For the last 6 1/2 years my desk and cubicle were in Tower #1 (the third one felled). I watched the implosion on 10/1/23 from across the street. It’s probably not necessary to say that it was an emotional experience. I want to thank CDI for taking the time to supply some of the history behind the buildings. Excellent video.
I've been home sick and had just finished the Blowdown series on RU-vid when I saw this demolition pop-up. This was the “cherry on top!” Great job to all the crew.

I appreciate the background information and explanations. This is a first for your videos, I believe. Makes the whole demolition more interesting . I’d expect there was a LOT of asbestos in those old buildings. 💲💲💲💲💲
I loved this little behind the scenes look at how a good implosion is set up. So the two sets of explosions are the shaped charge to cut the beam, then the displacement charge to push the segment down, then gravity does the rest and your building is packed into the basement
Exchange Park held quite a bit of Dallas history in it, primarily that it was the world headquarters of the (now defunct) airline Braniff International, which occupied the space from the complex's opening until 1978, when they moved to a new building near DFW.
I don't think I've seen one of your videos with the behind the scenes work of placing explosives before. Very cool. You dropped all three with perfection into their spots. Fascinating how you have this down to an art now.
it never gets old seeing C.D.I. turn big buildings to dust. its better then watching them being put up. another great job for the books at C.D.I.. its almost like every day. you need a car ,you go to a car dealer and buy a car. you need a big building to go away you call C.D.I. and it is gone like clock work. (NEXT) .......... after seeing C.D.I. do the hudson buildings i don't know how to top that. that was a big big big big shot and C.D.I.dropped it in its tracks , just beautiful.

I actually really liked this! I’ve always loved watching videos of stuff like this but also I’ve wanted to know an in depth or at least a general overview of the history of the building if need be. Keep doing these kind of videos!

I just got home from work and saw the notification of the new CDI video. I sat down to eat my dinner and watching this was like having dessert before my dinner. But it did not ruin it. I saw the pressure waves making the black mirror glass shake just before it was turned into glitter. Keep it up! A fine way to end my work day.

it was great to get a peek behind the scenes before the big event, would love a bit of an explainer on the technology (shaped charges etc) and how it's used in demolitions
I took dozens of photos of these buildings before their demolition. Kind of sad they are gone, but UT Southwestern hospital will undoubtedly put this land to better use.
Loved the preparation segment - it takes a lot of skill to do a dangerous job safely - but the vault video really stole the show! I wouldn't be surprised if some video game licenses that footage from you :-)
What is the function of the water sprinklers that sometimes come out? I always see that they have machines that spray water or throw water in an area but then you see the huge cloud of dust that comes up and it's not clear to me what their purpose is.
Is the timing due exclusively to det cord length? Would love to see a behind the scenes of how they actually plan for this structurally. Surgical precision!
Got to ask a question when the first explosions goes off does it start at the bottom and works it way up or does it start at top on of building and works it way down ? If someone could answer for me I would really appreciate it
9:45 shows how strong bank vaults are. Mythbusters tested this as well (on a much smaller vault): anything you do to penetrate the vault will almost certainly destroy its contents.
