Import Data from PDF to Excel Tables Using Power Query (Quick and Easy)

In this video, I will show you how to convert PDF files to Excel using Power Query. You can connect Excel with any PDF file using Power Query and then import the data from the PDF into Excel (without the need for any software or website).
One great thing about using Power Query to import data from pdf to Excel is that you can transform the data in Power Query before getting it in Excel.
This video also covers how you can combine all the PDF files in a folder using Power Query.

Sir, Thank you for the video. I have a doubt, if there are logo's in pdf file and I want to export all the data using PQ including logo is it possible?

It won't be possible with Power Query, as PQ can only connect and fetch the data in the PDF. If you want to get the logo and other images in the PDF, you will have to convert it using one of the software/tools

If in a table lets say we have 10 rows and 5 columns and every cell is having some numbers. But in every row from 1st column to last column there is some line written, so how to remove that line from each row to only get the numbers in every cell?

Convert the data type of that column to whole number or Decimal. This will make the cells with text show error. Then you can select that column and remove all cells with error in one go

Hello Sir I am using MacBook Air and Office 365. When I click on Data Tab I see Get Data (Power Query). I cannot see Get From File. I can see Import from Excel, Import from Txt/CSV, Import from XML etc, but cannot see Get From PDF. Please assist sir. Thanks and regards VENU

Why go to the Transform tab to promote headers when "Use first row as headers" exists on the Home tab?

I find it easier to use the option in the Transform tab (it's slightly bigger than the one in the Home tab). But that's just a personal preference.

It's possible that your Excel version may not have it. Have a look at this here - techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/excel/get-data-from-pdf-is-missing-excel-2019/m-p/3182170 Check the section where they show how to use it with a blank query
