IMPORTANCE OF NAGA TRADITIONAL GATE BY MR. MECHÜLHO 

The NLTV team recently spoke with Mr. Meguo O Mechülho, an 81-year-old from Pfuchatsu Khel and the first settler in 'P' Khel, Kohima Village. Mr. Mechülho, who served as the chairman of P Khel from 2004 to 2010, discussed the significance of an old traditional gate preserved since 1954 in Üsou Khel, Kharu Colony, Kohima Village 4. He highlighted the importance and meaning of the symbols carved into the gate and urged the younger generation to respect and preserve their cultural heritage. He also advised them to seek knowledge from the elderly to better understand and honor their traditions.
