Assalamalakum I am a revert to Islam. One thing I wish was that more people realize that the basic moral values of Islam and Christianity are very similar. The reason I left Christianity was because the logic behind the religion didn't make sense to me. Other then that it's a good religion. I love my Christian family and friends. I think it is always important to treat every one as a potential Muslim. One thing my mom would always say is that you catch more flys with honey than you do with vinegar.

I agree. This is a compelling but appealing speaker, combining hard facts with the softer undertones of his advice. Though, as he says himself, there are other speakers. Listen to them, too. What he meant, in my opinion, is that he did not want to be made an icon of, as was done to other men of God.
