This is very cool! I have enjoyed watching your progress with new gear and look forward to seeing what you come up with in the future. Keep up the good work you guys!
Ive purchased 2 of your saddles.im looking at getting the new 2.0. the first saddle survived a 28 inch oak peeling. It pulled me into the tree and didnt break or rip the D loops off. (Hence the second) I swear by your product. I cant wait to see the new advancement you've made too it.
Soooo stoked about the hydration pack just bought those recoil hydration packs a couple months back and they are not comfortable at all and your design is absolutely logical and I am sure that you all have put in the thoughts and ideas and really how can someone go wrong with purchasing a hydration suspenders backpack that actually climbs themselves it’s a no brainer for me to buy since I don’t care for being choked out by recoil hydration packs while trying to climb and have it pressed upon my artery in my neck. Again so many thank you’s sooo stoked for the hydration suspenders backpacks and the new regular suspenders and I am finishing the last 2min of the video and going to buy me a hydration pack in green ohhh yeah
Just got the new 2.0 in with the new suspenders and can’t wait to try them out Monday! I’ve got everything adjusted and accessories placed where I want them so I’m ready to rock and roll!! I’m the guy who got the added webbing on the legs for accessories and the team knocked it out the park! Thanks guys! I never thought I’d consider find a better saddle than the tree motion but it is junk compared to the monkey beaver!
Great looking suspenders! I will be ordering a pair and definitely looking forward to the hydration pack. I just wanted to agree with the folks who say 2.0 liters is better than 1.5, as long as the design fits without interfering with the saddle. I currently use a 1.5 liter Camelbak, and one of my coworkers has a 2.0 liter one, and it has become evident that he is usually at an advantage with the extra capacity. I don’t know if any of the companies that make the actual water bladders have considered creating a shorter, wider design to spread the water storage over the middle and higher part of the back and add more capacity without interference with the harness, but that might be something worth looking into.
The most critical design for hydration is the drinking valve. trees have snagged numerous hydration packs and took the on/off drinking nozzle down 100 feet to the bottom lost in ivy or thick brush. make it to wear its not able to catch on straps or tree parts. I found myself extremely wet at the torso and Tshirt
I wish I could afford one of those harnesses. I've been to your website and have the whole set up in my cart But I just haven't been able to swing $868 RN Hopefully I'll be able to Soon I love the custom MOM 1 you did. Money been kind of tight since mom's funeral cost. But I will be back on track soon and I can't wait to get up a tree with the 2.0set up. Keep up the good work Fellas.
Just purchased the 2.0 and suspenders from you guys and I’m so stocked want to buy another to have a backup instead of using the notch sentimental saddle or the petzl sequenchal
Those new suspenders look way better. I'll probably order a pair over the winter. I was eyeing the Courant's as they look fairly light. But now it should be Monkey Beav.
Don't discredit the "bullet loops". There are actually several youtube videos of people cutting down & trimming trees with shotguns. Seriously though, very nice design!
can you go over why one would need one of these in addition to a saddle for anything other than hanging a bunch of extra stuff from it? i'm still learning, but one thing that would make sense is taking the weight of the saw and everything that's hanging on your belt and putting some of it higher on the shoulders. i use a camp saddle and just recently got the chest harness part that has 2 big rings that you can use to ascend too, not really sure if i'll use it for that, but made sense from keeping the saddle from having to be on real tight to keep it from hanging low from the weight of the stuff on it
I switched from a 2L to 3L CamelBak for my backpacking trips. Basically same size and I don’t feel the difference in weight. BUT, that extra liter is an hour or two more in the trees for your clients. 3L NOTHING LESS
Would it be possible to make a full body harness with a rope bridge that could be used for rope access on buildings and trees? It is hard to find a rope access harness with a rope bridge by a reputable brand with a good fit.
What do I have to do to get a pair of Suspenders with the beaver Fur on them. They are Legendary!!! And I'd love to add them to my harness!!! I love the 2.0 harness! It's perfect!! Best one I've ever worked in!!! Mad respect for you bro! I look up to you!
Any chance the new suspenders (with the MB harness) can be designed/used to work with a fall restraint (attached to the back of the suspenders) so it can be used in a lift???? Thinking a towable 50' manlift, like a Genie TMZ50/30... Be able to use it in the lift and for climbing in the tree (or descending on a rope when said lift decides to stop working when your 50' up with no one around.......🙄😂). Thinking Casper for the new employee (the friendly ghost), though I do like @georgerdavis4585 idea of "Manny Quinn" And that is crazy awesome that all all your testing has been done with the same harness, really shows the quality of its build and design!! Certainly sold on it for all that it will do and your constant progression of upgrades (just looking for one more upgrade to work with a lift, to push it over the top and order one.....) Regardless, have a good one!!👍
