Importing flashcards is the fastest and most efficient way to make your flashcards (especially if you're using AI). I've encountered issues importing my .CSV files into Anki on multiple different computers. These are a couple of the work-arounds I know to make the process go smoothly.

First try of importing CSV into anki. Just about every video says save the file as CSV. Thankyou for this critical information 😂. Damn it's been a long day

If these tips don't work, then upload into google sheets, and download as a CSV (it's automatically set to UTF-8)

@JakeRommMD yes, 40 but when I want to import again, it says "skipped because already exist" I can see them in the browse mode but not when I want to study. Thank you anyway I just found Quizlet $38/year and it seems easier to use. Especially for my non tech savvy students 😅 I just copy paste from excel and it creates the card and the games

You might need to "unsuspend" the new cards. Go in the browse mode, highlight all the cards and then click control+j (windows) or command+j (mac). The other thing to check is to make sure the settings of the deck are set to allow 40 new cards per day. But yes, Quizlet is a great tool. Especially if you don't want to complicate things.

I import, it says ok but I can't see the cards in the deck selected. Anki is not user friendly

Does it tell you the number of cards it imported?
