Interesting that's the same time in the game Caleb Williams hurt his hamstring. Don't go around thinking the Utes shut down USC's offense because they didn't. Caleb Williams' hamstring shut down USC's offense. The Utes couldn't stop anything USC was running up to that point. I'm not saying USC would have won the game -- their defense sucks. Probably would have ended the same as the first game -- last team with the ball wins. But all you Ute fans thinking Utah did something great to shut down USC's offense -- nah, never happened.

@@tysonbomsta1645 Dude, what game did you watch? Utah couldn't stop ANYTHING USC was doing on offense when Williams was healthy. That's a fact, not opinion. Go back and watch the first quarter and a half. Utah stopped nothing USC was trying to do on offense. I'm not mad, I'm mature enough that the results of a football game don't affect me that way. I never did say USC would have won, because USC's defense sucks. With a healthy Williams for the whole game, the team with the last possession probably wins the game. But saying Utah had anything to do with shutting down USC's offense just isn't accurate. That's my point. I'm not a Ute hater. I'll cheer for them whenever they aren't playing my two favorite teams.

“Sometimes gunslingers get shot” Caleb Williams is their Offense and he balled out. His problem is he was overconfident and got hurt. Nothing but respect for USC and Williams, but a running gunning QB doesn’t stay a running gunning QB for long.

Not only heart, Utah dominated all three phases of the game and made fewer mistakes than USC. They were the better team through and through and proved it by beating USC TWICE.

Only lost 2 in-conference games. That’s all that really matters when stack ranking the conference teams. Otherwise perhaps they should have padded the first game out of conference with a cupcake team like most everyone else for the easy start of the season.

Especially considering the Pac-12 is on a huge upswing right now, and will have at least 1, maybe 2 teams in the CFP next year. I think USC gets swallowed up in the Big10.

I agree about Mr Bakers fair analysis and entertaining reactions to the game. I was a little surprised he didn't mention how Rising bounced right back up after that brutal hit he took. I felt like that was a demoralizing gut punch for USC and added greatly to increase Utahs momentum.

What's that got to do with anything. Don't make excuses. Both teams came into this game banged up. You will not cheapen UTAH'S win with that lame excuse. The Media n the 🌎 all but had USC winning this game n anointed USC's 2nd coming. Utah dominated USC.

@@CoreyAWhite I think the commenter was saying that, for those who were using the excuse "CW was hurt for a lot of this game, and that was why USC lost", is that CW was healthy in their earlier matchup and USC still lost, so don't be blaming this loss on any supposed CW injury.

For real. 4/5 years in the PAC championship game, and back to back champs this year. We are the de facto team to beat. But even in this pregame, the only broadcaster that picked Utah was Urban Meyer because he used to coach there.

@solomonjensen6057 Definitely underestimated and overlooked, back-to-back champs is something special. I will say though, ya'll gotta get into the playoffs to be considered a top program though. The same goes for all the Pac-12 schools, that's why they don't get the respect they deserve.

I think its funny your comment is meant as an attempt to be apologetic because of USC's "poor" play and instead it serves to prove that you confess that USC is not a championship caliber team... in your attempt to make excuses for your team you end up bashing your team with the same sentence... Poor defense and missed tackles? Or power running and broken tackles?... Guess its a mater of perspective and opinion... there are several example throughout the gamer but at minute 13:43 No.7 had No.87 wrapped up and 87 tossed him aside like a rag doll. That's not playing scared, that's not playing soft, that's not a missed tackle, that's a broken tackle by No.87 running through No.7. and then again at 16:22 No.7 again this time on No.3... power and "will" broke that tackle! "missed tackles"??? Nothing but excuses! I will also point out: At minute 6:22 sack No.1, 8:53 sack No.2, 10:26 sack No.3, 15:41 Interception!, 17:15 sack No.4, 17:27 sack No.5, 17:34 BOOM-DESTROYED! sack No.6 (didn't play that one back 5 times!), 17:43 sack No.7.... yeah there's your Heisman hopeful, the "best" player in college football getting his butt handed to him by the Utah defense. He is good but sooo overrated! Especially when he is pressured. Put him up against a defense that pressures him?... Yeah... not the best player in college football. Utah was all over him especially in the second half. Caleb Williams was sacked (29) time this season, (11) of those sacks came at Utah's hands. (4) the first meeting and (7) this meeting. That means the other eleven teams that Williams played against had a combined (18) sacks. Utah has (11)!!! That's 38% of his sacks are owned by Utah! Caleb is owned by Utah! What team in all of college football do you and Caleb Williams hate the most and don't want to play again?.... Utah!

@@Christiannbaker he had the market cornered in a conference full of terrible defense and ran the table and lost when it counted at the end of the season every year. Big 12 was a basketball conference during his entire tenure but he was able to run the table so I will give him that

@@Christiannbaker that being said, this team dodged two of its toughest conference opponents in Oregon and Washington and lost twice and struggled against Oregon State which were the only two good defenses they played. This team is soft
