I agree with you that Ulysses contains the world within in. Reminds me of something similar Borges said about Moby Dick or possibly Don Quixote, that they are endless. I like how you humanized the book and characters, with Death being an unnamed character in the book. It's a radical book, making everything that came after feel redundant. I don't recommend the book to readers unless they have a deep interest in reading it that goes beyond simple curiosity. Like you said, "attitude" is everything here otherwise don't bother.
