I must have watched over 50 different runs by now. and I'm still fascinated by now exceptionally well Misha seems to know the track. To switch between all the different cars and still go way faster than 99% of the other youtubes videos. Keep it up 😋
That MK8 Golf R was moving impressive for a sec! If you're the owner and see this please give Misha a go!! Judging by the wing and akra exhaust it's got Nurburgring mode So that would be good to test out!!
Misha thought it wasn't stock, but at the time of publishing this video (let alone recording which would have been earlier), Golf 8 R tunes weren't on the market yet (i know this because i own one). This car was probably stock, it just has great acceleration and of course the DSG. Remember these cars are capable of 7:50 - 7:40ish BTG. I personally would love to let Misha drive my 8 R but it has warranty until 2026, so no track mods.

110% agree! There are only 12 manual M4 here in sweden and this is the only one in San marino blue that its manual and would never trade it. Maybe the CS would be the only option

4:27 coming down the crest. Thats a wallpaper right there. The sun about to set, driving (a manual car) in the Nurburgring, that pretty epic on its own.
pro for long gear: you can stay in 3rd or 4th gear and dont have to shift much and the bmw still gives you the power you need to accelerate (except for slower parts of the track)

BRO, the way you maintained the correct amount of throttle pressure on your exit and then smoothly carried the rpms into the next shift while holding the car's positioning in the right angle.. ahhh man… 5:18 to 5:23 #masterful
Must be quite satisfying being so used to a track that even if you're dazzled by the sun you can still follow the ideal line thanks partly to muscular memory and feeling the bumps. Not like I've done it in my local roads when the situation needed it... didn't I? =P

3rd gear doing like 160kmh most normal cars can't even hit 160kmh in 5th gear lol that thing is amazing... Everytime I watch one of these I re evaluate cars I want to drive
So a mate of mine sent me this because he randomly spotted me - I was in the Lotus you passed at around 9:13. I distinctly remember this moment out of many days spent at the Nordshleife because the rear wheels got huge air over the bump straight afterwards under braking - that's why old mate reacts in the car.. haha!
Totally agree! ❤ in my opion its the last good looking BMW without electric. They maybe someone good in the future but that would be electric or hybrid

You will not see a CT4 V Blackwing in Europe? It’s a beast. The CT5 V Blackwing has so much power you have to have skills in the same level or higher to explore its potential. I am a amateur and had so much fun at the Cadillac Academy Spring Mountan resort in Pahrump, NV.

Hi! I love my Manual F-80 M3 but noticed that your throttle settings were in efficient and not sport plus as I typically drive the car. Was this due to the noise restriction? Or is the car tuned? Thank you, and fantastic lap!

can you explain why 2.3/2.4 bar on track? I don't understand, isn't that tire a semi-slick for the road? I heard that you should run 1.9/2.0 when cold, because the optimum pressure is 2.2bar/32psi hot or am I wrong or missing something? nice car and nice video as always 🔥
Ah, stock shox and shorter/ stiffer spring. ... I would expect that the rebound is too fast. I' m excited to see what my dokker is going to feel like with a lowered body and stock shox.
@@twbigfoothd269 never had problems in coder condition herr in Switzerland. Even with below 2 bar for a short time. And on the track their getting hot enough to reach 2.5+.

But they are worth it! Did 30 laps of spa and 15 laps on the ring. But going with carbotech or PFC after this. Got the Ferodos very cheap so thats why its on ☺️
I have a question and thought maybe people here would answer because it's track driving related and can't find anything online, and they did talk about it in this video. Is there any inconvenients of running higher temp capable brake fluid ? I'm gonna do a brake upgrade some day on my e36 and the price difference between rbf660 and rbf700 (what this guy used on this m4, which is why I thought of asking) is barely anything, so I thought I'd get the higher temp resistant one, but the fact they're almost the same price with a big difference between the temp made me wonder of why is the 660 still even a thing if the 700 is that much better so I wonder if there's also other differences and potentially inconvenients.
@@imnota you feel the differnce so much! Had the normal BMW fluid on one trackday and had a very scary moment were the pedal just dropped and my seats almost turned brown 😆. But even if you go with 660 or 700 its suuuuch and upgrade 😃
Is the track better in winter with cold air but cold surface, or summer with warm track but hot air? I've always found my BMWs to be happier on a cold day; especially the N52.

looked fun! he should keep in mind that you driving is 2.8. He did mention he isnt as fast, so probably will go down to 2.6 ish. Still too high ofc, but not AS crazy
The efficient mod of the engine was not affecting the power ? Like valve closed ? Because mine change à lot, between Efficient And sport plus, it’s an other car 😅
