I was there at the fanmeet, she was an effective MC, there were times na inggit ako sa interaction nila In Guk pero part un ng job. She did her best and it showed. She didn't deserve the hate.

They reached out to her, hindi sya nagprisinta or nanulot. and she delivered! Considering na halos impromptu lahat goes to show na talagang magaling syang host. She does not deserve the hate. I like Kristel and I feel sorry for what happened but i have also been rooting for Karen since her PBB days. She worked hard for everything she has now. ❤
not impromptu tho. Kilala na ng Director si Ate Gurl kasi naghost na rin sya before sa same Director. The first host ginamit lang for promo,. Prior the event, aware na yang Karen na anytime pwede niyang palitan si First host.
@@paboritos impromptu parin kasi she was only asked to host a few hours before the actual event. Again, I do feel bad for kristel. Nagamit ba sya to promote? Maybe yes, maybe no. Ang bottomline is hindi naman kasalanan ni Karen na naibigay sa kanya yung hosting gig because na impress nya yung korean director nung naka trabaho nya previously.
To be fair, I am not a fan of either of them but Ms. Karen has an exceptional hosting talent. As a production assistant and an event coordinator for years, simple lang ang usapan: can the man of the show perform the job or not? Pag hindi, mapapalitan ka talaga. Whatever happened, if the former host was removed because of underperformance, it's NEVER Ms. Karen's fault. I see her dedication and professionalism. If the supposed host was courteous enough, she should have clarified not to take it against the host na ipinalit sa kanya. Yun lang naman ang aking two cents sa nangyari.
Ms. Kristel has nothing against Ms. Karen. It's just that there are fans na toxic. Watch her vlog and she didn't say anything bad or rude naman to her (she simply enjoyed the show as a fan of SIG). 😊

Congrats, Ms. Karen! I actually watched his fanmeet concert last Saturday, and I can say that you really did your job well. As a Seo In Guk fan for many years, I’m really thankful that he finally came here to the Philippines. With that, I can also say that I really enjoyed how you hosted on that night. Karen is a seasoned host, I'm not surprised the Korean management was impressed with her work and they wanted her to be last minute replacement because she's really the type who can do it quick. They make it look easy but it's not.
congratulations, you did a great job, i know koreans very well and they wont settle for less, they have high expectations though its just a rehearsal but for them you should give your all… they are very meticulous and perfectionist, thats why their movies are now knowned worldwide . Imagine one filipino guested in a korean drama for a only a minute appearance and they filmed that scene over and over in one day 😀… its hard to impress koreans and you did 😍
It is just unfair she hasn't done any rehearsal but Krystal Fulgar did and remove because of it in just ONE practice. The fact that they allow Karen to have impromptu, i don't know why they haven't just chosen her from the very start. They all very know Krystal Fulgar is a vlogger not a season host but still give her the hope for weeks only to be cancelled at the last minute. It is impossible for the organizer not to background check for an important event. I'm not blaming Karen but it's unfair for the fans of Krystal who attend the event because Krystal promoted it. Obviously, they just uses Krystal for promotion. They know Krystal is a vlogger and uses her pictures to promote. It is so unprofessional for the Korean Organizer to just remove Krystal without considering her contract, when Karen and Krystal can co-host together. They don't have consideration for Krystal who refuse to accept any event job because of this event. Krystal is so kind not to pursue this case to DOLE for not respecting her contract and time. I hope Krystal is paid for using her face to promote.
Discrimination sa Work ang ginawa nila. .Nasa Pinas sila dapat sila ang makikisama .. Di naman ako 100% fans ni Miss Kristel at nung hinahangaan nia .. Nacucute tan lng aq ... Pero sa obserbasyon ko Masakit yung ginawa nila kay Miss Kristel .. 😢
I only got to watch snippets of the show on RU-vid and I must say, Karen, you were awesome! You were definitely born to do hosting! Not everyone can do impromptu hosting gigs so I think you deserve a pat on the back! Wishing you all the best and praying for more hosting gigs for you! You're fun to watch!

Just watched kristel's rehearsing the supposed to be hosting, talaga palang kulang na kulang, hats off to the management for choosing quality. walang energy prang gusto mong senyasan n more energy please kristel.who do you think you are introducing.. may it be popular or not, you are supposed to boost the event. And one thing, why give your best shot on the 2nd chance, you are asked to rehearse,do it as if you are doing it on point. No questions about to karen, she's a real pro on this.
You deserved to be the host, and Kristel deserved the duet thingy... things happened and it's perfectly presented to the both of you. You two showed what an impowered woman must have in an unforeseen circumstances - that we should give our best in everything we do; and if ever if doesn't go with what you've expected you just have to accept and seize what's presented at the moment. Girl power!
I am fan of KF and honestly im also one of those asking why pinalitan siya napa ka unprofessional .. but when i saw KF vlog .. nakita ko kulang nga energy niya sa rehersal and yon siguro nakita nang korean management ,iba kasi sa korea kahit rehersal lang dapat bigay todo hindi kagaya dito sa pilipinas ,we only show our 100 percent pag nandyan nah .. at si Ms.karen meron na syang hosting experienced under korean management thats why slaying it is not a question .. Dapat wala nang bash people they both win in different way ... 🥰

You wholeheartedly wanted to give the audience and SIG the energy and experience they deserved from the very beginning, and that showed from your generous ad-libs! Congratulations for doing so amazing! People forget that exceptional hosting takes years of on-the-spot thinking and interacting experience! You may get rude comments from netizens who weren’t even there now, but at the end of the day, you contributed to the joy and comfortability the fans and SIG felt that day!
I love ate Karen and Kristel. Kristel is not blaming ate Karen. Her feelings are valid because of what happened, let's just give that to her. Morever, she admitted that she's not good at hosting, she accepted the hosting stint because of SIG. On the other hand, ate Karen do not deserve all the hate comments coz it's not her fault as well. I've watched videos regarding the event and your energy is so infectious I love the hype and energy. It's really meant for you💛 But I don't mean that the other party doesn't deserve it, it's just that there's something about you when it comes to hosting.
I hope this wasn't directed to Kristel in any way. She was only sharing her disappointment with not being the host of the fanmeet for her ultimate idol. She's been a fan for so long and lots of Filipino fangirls look to her as a representative especially for Seo In Guk in particular. There were misplaced hate and speculations directed at Karen, which she didn't deserve. But I hope we could stop narratives that pit the two together. To have the two as a host will be 2 different experiences: It would've been nice to see the SIG-Kristel interaction and feel the sincere kilig from an actual fangirl herself and Karen is an exceptional host who is sure to give an objectively good show. It was the management who was at fault here - they knew Kristel's forte wasn't hosting, they could've made comments on her energy during the rehearsal, and they should've looked into Kristel's skills way ahead so they didn't have to make changes on the very day itself, hours before the event.
Based on Kristel Fulgar’s vlog, she has nothing against Karen. She even acknowledged na maybe nakulangan sa energy nya yung Korean director. She just wished she was given a second chance, that’s all. Pero tinanggap naman niya in the end di ba? She made the vlog cause she felt the need to explain at least to her supporters who expected na siya yung magiging host. If you’re not a supporter of Kristel, siguro di mo maiintindihan yung point na yun. I see some people saying kasi na she shouldn’t have aired her frustrations in public when in fact she simply explained what have transpired during the day of the concert. Kristel is a very genuine person, she even stayed and enjoyed the concert ‘cause she really is a big fan of SIG. Kung ibang tao yan na na-cancel bigla eh baka nag walk-out pa. Let’s all just be happy that the event was still a success. Kudos to Karen for pulling it off even it was a big challenge for her. She’s a great host indeed. 💖
I'm not familiar with Karen, but I already know who Kristel is. After watching the rehearsal, kulang talaga ang energy ni Kristel. Hindi naman kasi enough yung "fan" ka lang para mag-host, oo, marunong ka mag-Korean, pero ano pang mai-ooffer mo? Karen deserves it, hindi nanunulot. Pinatunayan niyang kaya niya mag-host, let's just hope na mag-grow pa si Kristel.
Yup I know Kristel and I'm a fan of her, but when sa una palang ng vid niya kung ako din yung director kulang sa enery and nakakadisappoint din. During the rehearsal palang ginawa niya na dapat yung best niya. This is a lesson for her and an opportunity naman for Karen. Love them both ❤

Kristel was being used for this event. Sana before sya inannounce na sya maghohost, tinry muna yung hosting skills nya kung pasado ba sa kanila. Hindi yung on that exact day sya pinalitan. Come to think of it, di lang basta fans ni SIG yung nandun, andun din fans ni Kristel who are supporting her K-dream. Si Karen daw hinahanap ng korean mgt, edi sana in the first place sya na kinuha, hindi yung ginamit name ni Kristel for marketing. And I agree Karen is not at fault for what happened pero have some empathy naman girl.
Sa tingin mo ba maisip pa ba nila yan sa busy ng mga kmanagenent, do you think may pa seminar seminar pa or audition since yung sinasabi ng iba?
