For endurance charge generation don't forget the medium cluster jewel notable Mob Mentality. Any build that uses a melee skill can use this with autoexert battlemage's cry to constantly generate all charges automatically, and battlemage's cry can also automatically apply level 20 curses for you (or anything else you want). If you're on the left side of the tree you can also get the war cry mastery "War cries always have at least 10 power", which ensures that even if your auto warcries go off when no enemies are around they still have a 50% chance to generate a charge. With 2 autoexerted warcries this gives you near permanent uptime on all charges, and if you use an additional warcry like enduring cry manually on cooldown it's even better. The biggest downside is that skills supported by multistrike can't be exerted so this won't work unless you forgo it.
Hey that's a good idea! Never even knew that existed for a medium cluster, cheers man I'll pin your comment so others can see! :) that would work great with autoexert and generals cry on earthshatter for example
Another cluster option for endurance charge generation is the Enduring Composure notable found in small armour cluster jewel. Most of the builds get hit often enough to have full uptime with this one even without extra duration for charges. The bit of extra armour is a nice bonus on top.
@saewctu Damn clusters op I really haven't looked at them much for charge generation. That's another great tip thanks bro!! That's like using inexorable on the passive tree too but better, great node
Great video. Just to be pedantic, block is not mitigation, it is avoidance. Mitigation is when you reduce the magnitude of something that, usually not to 0.
I'm playing an evasion character who will be using enduring cry, regular block with a lil spell block, spell suppression, aspect of the crab and arctic armour with Snowblind Grace. The arctic armour is 30% PDR while stationary with the buff effect from Snowblind Grace. Next I'm trying to get the "your hits fortify" from the mace cluster jewel notable. Tankiest character I've ever made.
For the Strength of blood thing (8:40) to work you need to have over leech (from sources like slayer or petrified blood). If you play CI any life leech will immediately stop, giving no damage reduction.
@@everseenTV pretty sure, that's how leech always worked and the keystone works similar to "while leeching" condition, the only real use case of Strength of blood to my knowledge is having over leech on a character with already high life regen so you can sacrifice that extra recovery for higher eph
@@Roadtotarget yeah for sure, I think the only thing thats odd for me is that POB calculates it as phys max hit without ticking "are you leeching?" in pob
I also play Bleed Gladiator this league. With 4k hp I did not die even a single time (not counting fights against pinnacle bosses). As def layers I use 5 endurance charges (20% dmg reduction) / fortification (21% dmg reduction) / Flesh and Stone aura in sand stance (19% dmg reduction) / Arctic armor aura (20% dmg reduction). Beside this I have at least 50k armor going up to 90k when using flasks and 77 % max resistances. If you have some "increased reservation efficiency" picked up in your tree you can easily use Determination, Flesh and Stone, Arctic armor auras the same time. Make sure to use in your Pantheon Arakalii as a defense against damage over time. DoT can still kill you if you are not careful.
@lioneddy yeah bro glad Is so fun. That's really tanky actually having 90k armour just for starters is nuts. Flesh and stone is cool and even arctic armour lmao. I'd argue you're giving up too much damage at that point but you can never be too tonky! I debated flesh and stone, I'm tight for auras in mine though. Decided to use malevolence, herald of purity, vitality, and pride and still had crazy defence. Glad op :D
@@everseenTV How much armor would be the sweet spot (without flasks) ? Would 40k be enough with just only 4k HP? I could swap Determination for Pride or Malevolence.
Nice video man, helps a lot. Just one question how about players who are using 2 hand weapons and cannot have a shield or dual wielding to benefit from block. I think using 2H weapons are in just in bad spot compared to 1H weapon with shield or dual wielding. I know by using 2H weapons the damage is insane especially with axe mastery but still feels not comfortable to play and dying very frequently with a decent 100K ehp(want to mention I’m slayer with 100k armor) 40k physical and 70+k elemental just by taking 2 altars that lower resistance and physical dmg reduction. I just can’t find a way to balance defence with offense while I play with 2H axe.
thanks man! yeah I agree 2h isn't in the greatest spot, there are some really damn good builds but still you need to rely on warcries and just getting tons of endurance charges/armour. That's about all you can do. it doesn't hurt to have lots of recovery. Slayer is pretty much kill before being killed in my opinion. Quite squishy in comparison to like a Jugg or Chieftain
weapon swap shield redblade bannner with enduring cry and urgent orders for max endurance charge or the chest the fourth vow+ glorious vanity keystone divine flesh with max chaos 80%
@iguanaATTACK fourth vow is great and all but for the glad build it's ideal to get avoid elemental ailments on the chest piece. Fourth vow is better for other builds. This league with the new bases it's really hard to justify using unique chests now imo. Weapon swap doesn't work well for me personally with my auras needing to be in shield. Cool tech tho didn't think of that lol
@@amrkoti686 yeah unfortunately. The strength of blood keystone can work though if you have life gained on hit alongside it. You can also use the warlords mark for endurance charges
Thank you for the video, it's a great timing that it popped in my recommendations, so I'll take this a sign to ask for help with my builds. I'm trying to run t15 jungle valley maps with strongboxes/beyond/eldrich atlas and getting oneshotted multiple times during each map, which is honestly demoralizing.. I'm a fairly new player so just followed pohx/fubgun builds for rf chieftain and ls slayer. But it start to feel like I'm stuck as I'm constantly dying. I know that lower map tier is an option, but i would like to farm currency as well. Anyways, if someone would be so kind to take a look at my POBs, i would greatly appreciate any advice (also maybe im just bad at this game). rf chief pob (can't leave a link here, so just add this to pobbin afer slash) - vk5Y94eQamuT ls slayer pob - zNEuOrgQt-R3
@kostiantynsyvokon hey brother! I have quite a bit of experience playing with RF. Maybe come over to the discord and link your POB and I can get you sorted from there! :)
I appreciate your upload. however, none of this benefits me in any way. My highest level character is no where near being able to wear what you are showing here and I do NOT have the currency to obtain the gear and weapons necessary to accomplish what you are doing here!
@jamming8519 hey bro, no worries. Honestly if you need more help I'd jump in the discord and I could help you more from there. It's more tailored towards red mapping and endgame defences so that makes sense. The new bases are level 84 plus so yeah
