Just a lil tid bit regarding Petrified Blood. You dont need the Life Mastery for "Low life is 55%" As Petrified Blood damage protection occurs specifically at "Half Life" and not Low life. Other than that, great video!
@@_ByteBlaze_ yeah, but its not a considerable boost in ehp and you also miss out on 5% life reservation. my main point is, you dont NEED to get the mastery to maximise the the defensive potential from PB, as the mitigation occurs at half health only. some newer players may not understand, its also a great example of how important the wording is when it comes to skills, modifiers and conditions
@@corvo_corax That's true that it doesn't improve your PB effectiveness, but it does improve your HP against degens (it will extend the time it takes for a degen to kill you, giving you a bit more reaction time)
Yeah it's a pretty niche category. Best POE Experience by far aside from random 1 shots and disconnects. If you can get past that it's pretty fun. Welcome, happy you're here :)
I think you could have stressed ailment immunity/avoidance/reduced effect a bit more. Ailments are deceivingly dangerous and were responsible for most of my deaths when I was starting to play PoE. I remember it took me a while to realize the sort of impact they had on my survivability.
since i have not seen it mentiond here i personaly like to use Divine Flesh Stacking up the Chaos Res and Then useing a Forbidden taste withe the use on Savage hit enchant. since the Savage hit and the Recovery from the Flask apply at the same time this can mean up to 100% more total life pool against big hits a Friend of mine also likes to use the Replica Rumis Concution withe an a thing like trickster
definitely yeah, it's really strong on inquisitor because it basically acts as double regeneration. Unfortunately a lot of things are changed since 3.24. I may do an updated version of defences for 3.25
Saffels is good to provide a similar + to max resistance. Brass dome will work wonderful on a juggernaut too. Since we get Unbreakable from the Ascendancy you're effectively doubling your armor as if you're wearing 2 brass domes. There's not much that synergizes since its really just flat armor, +max res and crit immunity!
I believe that it's better to use complex trauma since your ramp time is significantly quicker. Personally I just didn't want to take time away from farming heist. Right now, boneshstter is just my farming build to get replica alberons
Ya anything that does damage can self recover your HP. It only states that it will recover your missing unreserved life. If you are between 1/5000 and 4999/5000 you will recover life
Hey brother, are you talking about aegis aurora? I covered it briefly in part 1 if you want to check it out! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GhonMS2A5ME.htmlsi=lR_bfeEOZHO_X17q
Okay, I'm not entirely sure what the right answer would be then. This is just what I theorized based on the order of operations of Progenisis>Petrified Blood!
Finally I understood defiance of destiny hahaha ty It now makes sense how bow builds are getting really tanky with progenesis, Defiance of destiny and Petrified blood
@@everseenTV yah that sounds awesome. I mean you could do it in every aspect. Your video is doing well and you are a good explainer. You could use it as an opportunity to talk about things like damage and chaos inoculation and energy shield and so much more. I could be wrong but I think you would see some well earned growth on the channel going in that direction.
@@benjamindains6906 I don't disagree brother, I've been paying close attention to what's going on in the RU-vid space for POE and educational videos are doing fantastic. I plan to do lots of other videos teaching mechanics and overall the game. Right now developing an idea for a series to explain some more mechanics in detail. Basically the whole game has changed drastically with the introduction of the new scarabs so an overhaul needs to be done as far as how mechanics should be played and shown. I'm probably going to tailor my content more in the approach of SSF, but all that means is that for trade players my approaches will actually be EASIER than if you practiced it in the same way I do. :) Cheers for the compliment as well, means a lot!
Hey, about Petrified blood i dont understand One thing, cos u cant recoup/regen/leech Hp above half, u eHP= hp - 50%, for example u have 5000 Hp, u use Petrified blood+progenesis , and in map u Hp = 2500+-, and u Max hit taken = 5000+-(cos its machenic of this flask+Gem), but, if u dont use Petrified blood+progenesis, u hp = 5000, cos u can regenerate/Leech/Recoup up it for max, and u max hit taken = 5000, but, if u use Progenesis without Petrified blood, u max hit taken was 5000+25%=6250 Maybe I'm wrong in my reasoning P.s. I exclude Low life build with pain attutment, or Pathfinder with infinity life flask, but in other builds Petrified blood not good idea(Maybe I'm wrong and you tell me why)
So the way your health pool will show is that your health will have 2 levels, one is darker than the other. I'd recommend watching sergeantminor's video like I referenced for great in game examples. Basically when that damage is going to be taken over 4 seconds it can be nullified with life recoup since you recoup life over 4 seconds! With only using progenisis if you're taking a hit its not 5000+25%=6250 either. It's 25% OF 5000 meaning it's 1250 subtracted off of the 5000. that 1250 is taken over 4 seconds which you can combat with life recoup. Also, I agree that progenisis and petrified blood is mainly a pathfinder setup and this is basically because of the built in increased flask effect that pathfinder gets. But like I said, I used petrified blood on the chieftain build in 3.23 :) Cheers!
Hmm, think you forgot/missunderstood the defiance of destiny: It says MISSING unreserved life, so if your max life is 5000 and you get hit by 4999 dmg you will not get any life back because you where at ZERO MISSING life before the hit.
Yes this is true, however you will recover the 2099 life before the next hit is calculated. Very hard to mitigate this though, but DoD shouldn't be your only source of sustain. You could have life regen or leech for instance. I see what you mean though I did miss reiterating "missing" unreserved life. My explanation was implying it based on what I read from the item initially, I catch your drift though. Good comment & clarification! :)
@@everseenTV thanks man, would be nice :). I know, as most people do, but ES/witch builds get very few support - obviously half of your guide is very useful for me too. the hard part is, that at one point of stuckedness (around lvl 84), I decided to partly follow a build guide (Arc elementalist), which helped for a while, but most of the guides aim for buying high end or expensive gears AND almost all of them aims for armor basis. however they miss to teach how to get through from ~lvl90 after completing T16 maps. I myself try to learn the hard way to deeply undeerstand the game/craft/mechanisms and and not just buy things, but this way it's superhard to stay effective and don't die on every 10th map and have more reliable defense, but stay effective in the meantime :)
@IcarusHU gotcha, more of a progression issue then. I think that witch builds are generally harder to progress and find marauder or duelist builds much easier to progress with more access to defenses. Maybe it's better to do a witch as a second build if you're struggling? But I agree an armour basis is a must for witch. Maybe try slotting in an enduring cry/Call to Arms setup for more sustain and physical damage reduction!
After looking around I found some threads that confirm the idea but needing 100% fire resistance in order for it to work. Not entirely sure what they're talking about since most of these threads are very old. I can't remember, but I think the game used to allow being able to get 100% max resistance
@@everseenTV my thought process is this. most if not all RF builds take the mastery for 10% less damage over time taken. but even with that, they still need a bunch of life regen and 90% fire res. so if arakaali reduces dot damage, that would make running RF easier no?
@@dervakommtvonhinten517 Yeah I understand the thought process, I'm just not sure if the interaction works or not to give you an answer. RF is technically damage over time but im not sure it counts under the pantheon. As for the mastery, you typically want to grab to multiplier if killed recently. It's not that significant of a damage reduction really. You're also mitigating a lot of the fire damage
You like interesting interactions?? Take Balefire scepter with 3 blue sockets... then socket Infused Channeling, Cast While Channeling and Body Swap. OMG... such movement SPEED, but it's admittedly hard to control. I will probably fiddle with it using The Squire and go RF or something. It's like Flicker strike with a lot more fire and body explosions.
