Just wanted to add that it’s super important to build up strength to support your flexibility, especially if you’re going to the point of hyperextension!!! Taking it too far can come with a lot of consequences. Please be careful and gentle with yourselves everyone 💕

Dropped in to say this! I have eds which means I can hyperextend but I Don't have the strength to support it and I can hurt my knees by turning around too quickly if I'm not paying attention 👀

Me too and I have hyper hyperextension and am always confused on what to do when my teacher tells me "EXTEND MORE YOU CAN DO MORE" then "STRETCH THAT KNEEEEE" 😢

try to find the difference between sinking onto your hyperextension vs pulling up and fully extending
