How long did it take you to notice your stamina increasing? I haven’t played in a while and my first day back at team training I was winded by the 10 mins playing pick up
@@kyroking9934 I use to sprint/jog everyday between a treadmill/elliptical with varying inclines and speeds. I started 10 to 15 minutes and worked my way up to 30 or 40 minutes of sprinting and jogging. So after a month or so I could tell a noticeable difference. I would also walk a lot in the evening. Holding my breath during 420ing and the gym probably helped as well. 😂😂
This was my routine last year September as i was preparing for Upcoming local tournaments in December, I was away from football for two years and my stamina was low so i tried this routine together with the Bike Exercise for like 1 hr everyday and i was participating in Boxing Fitness everyday , together with my work which was demanding, i lost 15 kgs in November from 82kgs to 67 and on December i was 64 kgs , i took part In the tournament , that was cool this routine helps you build your Cardio
Glad to see other sports doing this to. Running is literally my sport still. And I remember I had a hard time with 8 30 second sprints I got up to doing 25 at 4:00 to 4:30. Hardest part is jogging the 30 seconds though. It got me to a 4:06 mile.
Thank you for this workout, I have been doing it consistently, any advice on how to ramp it up a little bit more? I find 30 seconds is too little and feel I can go more
@@thecodotmo9063 I mean it was hard at first but yea after I pushed my limt my heart was tired from running out breath. Its bad to over run.But after a week I started running Super quick but now I stop.Cuz now I’m building muscle and I’m sore.yea its great but its hard to go 12 + for 20mintues straight
Treadmill is the same speed he rests on the side of the treadmill. 5 min cool down at the end should be roughly 50% effort or lower than what your sprint is
is there anything better than this cause i tried this i did 10 sets in 14 with 10 incline still too easy but my stamina is still bad i was able to do 40 seconds run and 20 seconds rest
Just run as fast as you can as long as you can until there is no more energy left 3-5x and one other option is run on a fast speed on incline for like 20 min
It "mimics" the ground outside. If you were outside you would have to work harder to pull yourself forward with each stride. The treadmill belt comes to you so you do less work
Usually I’ll try to rest with a 1:1 ratio, so 30 seconds run, 30 seconds rest. But if you’re getting used to the workout, resting a little longer shouldn't hurt you!
Salomon, Hoka, or Altra for road and trail shoes. All the major brands like Nike, Adidas, Brooks, and New Balance are garbage and made only for looks, not actual performance.
Oh I stay at my mother and her parents house my grandparents and they don’t have this my father have this before but I don’t really go in that house anymore there are basketball ring here but I doubt I can really increase my stamina without opponents since I will be bored
