That's a great point! Adding a blanket to the interior of a campervan can definitely provide some extra insulation during colder weather. I used moving blankets that I got from Harbor Freight, just used bunjy straps w/ hooks on ends stretched from side to side and hung the blanket over! Great in winter, and also did same behind seats, trapped the heat in!!

Hi Matty I have found good use of doggie backseat covers, they are waterproof and thick for winter and they can be found at thrift stores/yardsales pretty cheap, I've picked mine up for $3 and they have lasted for years. I like how you've taken the panels off your back doors for storage pockets! Now I gott go try that, except I'll have to move my speakers and figure out where to put them, Thanks for your videos!

Mattyyyyy. The light coming btwn your back doors when they are closed could be where your mice infiltration occurs. You know, they only need about 1/4”-3/8” gap to get in. I’ve seen it happen.

I don't know if your back doors has gaps when fully shut I know my two doors do I fixed the gaps with that stuff from home Depot thats for keeping pipes from freezing It works great I had to put it all around my doors and stuff some inside my sliding door at night

I used corrugated plastic cardboard sheets for my window covers. If you go to cellphone stores and ask if they have signs they are throwing away, they usually have a stack just sitting around. And then you can put reflectix on one side to cover the printed side :) gorilla tape the edge.

I think leaving hood up is to discourage critters like mice to camp under d hood when parked for a time

The idea is to let the maximum amount of light in, let the engine heat out quicker so there is no warmth to attract the mice. It also allows the cold winds to circulate thus again making it s less desirable place for nesting. They also spray Grandpa Gus Mice Repellent around the engine when they stop.
