I'd wish the ES6 would be either in Elsweyr or Valenwood so we would get large population of Khajits or woodelfs but no 🥲more human cities with the redguards this time... (thought I guess it has not been 100% confirmed yet) Maybe in 2040 we will get ES7 that is somewhere there 😁
I highly doubt we'll every get a game or even DLC set in Elsweyr due to so many furstocks. It would take a long time to make models for them and add skeletons and animations, unless they retcon the furstocks which is a possibility given how they've treated lore in their previous games.
The recent footage of the canyons and grasslands in Beyond Skyrim: Elsweyr looked fascinating. Apparently, it will be part of the same world map as their Cyrodiil. Looking forward to it!
If the theme of TES6 is the 2nd Great War between the Empire and the Dominion, then I don't think the game would take place at Elsweyr or Valenwood. Alinor would be the ideal province for the conflict, Elsweyr or Valenwood would be visited as a part of a DLC.
While I don't really use Khajiit I am a beast race player...I hope we get more stuff for Argonians that isn't just retexturing their bodies or eyes...especially after seeing Khajiit finally getting some love beyond just new furs.
Still waiting for more mods that change the argonian voice lines so they don't all sound like chain smokers. Right now, there's only one that I know of.
Beast HHBB is your friend. It's a bit strange that she doesn't use that mod, since it's (in my opinion atleast)the best visual overhaulfor Beast races with Hair and Beards for Khajiit and Horns and Feather "Hair" for Argonians
I just started an Argonian character not too long ago (after the files for my Altmer & Imperial got corrupted, thx Bethesda) and Argonian Fins is a must. Especially if you give them a name like “Swims in Fierce Oceans” (my character’s name)
I think a mod with more hairstyles/hair decoration with a focus on Redguards would be pretty amazing, I might make myself learn how to make a mod just for this.
Thanks for including my mod in your showcase. I'm impressed with how thorough you were -- the clips of the Giant's Club, Chatur'jo's outfit, running through the configuration options, etc. were great. :D Wonderful work! ETA: Nanak's ability to shout has been a point of some contention for a long time. I am planning to redo his introductory quest in the future to address this, so hopefully it will make everyone happy. :)
Myself I appreciate Nanak's devotion to learn Dragon Language and see absolutely no problem with it, but I just knoooooowww that there are people who aren't as into it as I am :D Now I just need to play through the new updates with him
Personally i find the thing quite heartwarming... the fact his shouts fail sometimes _{if it's a real thing in the mod}_ adds a lot to the fact itself. I find that perfectly immersive, definitely a mod I've got huge interest in if I'll run the game again. My first ever Skyrim character was a Khajiit indeed, Khaahan and I wish i could have made a mod out of his backstory and the way the character developed along the his own adventure into Skyrim. He was, basically, a great wealthy merchant with many ships and commerce across the whole lands but during a travel of his a mutiny ordered by someone of his family willing to put the hands on his business caused him to be thrown into the ocean. Reached Skyrim he had to find any connection he can to the events on his ship, to find out who betrayed him, rebuild his own richness and eventually go back home to regain his own stolen possessions. The last thing happened to him in Skyrim is a bloodbath feast where some of the citizens of Whiterun killed each other _{I forgot the name of the quest... one of the darkest divinities in Skyrim and her ring were involved}_ that made him opposed by anyone in Skyrim and his traces were lost into the darkness of his evil transformation. I told you the story in short... feel free to make it your own idea, if you find it interesting. The character was gaining complexity and turning seriously amazing, probably the one I enjoyed most back then. Cheers!
I say if greybeards (they are not dragon-born) and a non-nord player character can use thu'um, if a khajiit dragonborn can use the Voice, so can a Khajiit be a scholar of the Way of the Voice. ❤
Planning on doing a brand new play through in VR focusing purely on modded content and sidequests. Wasn't sure which character I was going to use, but after watching this - it's quite obvious. Another Khajiit! I love recreating characters from stories I've written, and I have two candidates that will fit the bill. First step will be to create a Khajiit army and recruit all of those from the Khajiit Will Follow mod. A band of adventuring Khajiit sounds like a ton of fun.
Great content! The narration is also easy to follow and well paced so you can focus more on the video than reading the subtitles! Thank you for the mod compilation~~
I like the fact that that the bard's college khajiit can shout, I'd give him an amulet of Talos and equip him with dovah gear pertinent to his abilities and play as a khajiit and let him follow me till the end of time 😁
What a wonderful summary! The evident enthusiasm was inspiring. I have never actually played a khajiit in Skyrim - but now I think it is time for a descendant of my feline Twin Lamps abolitionist in Morrowind! I am imagining a lunar guard tasked with hunting someone down for profane crimes stealing a holy relic in Elsweyr (perhaps Dar'taqto from Beyond Skyrim: Bruma? That will feel odd, as he is my current character's trusted follower!) but via the Shadow of Skyrim mod, they will at the first encounter overpower me. Then I will need to seek out my armour and Azura's moonblade, help Ri'saad in the new extended Saints and Seducers quest, team up with some of those new followers, and confront the miscreant once more. Thank you for sharing your passion with us!
Thank you very much for the spotlight on my Khajiit Speaks Redux mod! I've added it to my mod page! I love your tone and delivery throughout - and all of these mods are truly must-haves for me! -Shiholude
Just tried to make a kajiit character for the first time based on my calico/tabby housecat in vanilla skyrim, and was a bit disappointed with how limited the customization options were. You all know that finding a video like this was the natural next step for me
This is great, i love seeing Khajiits get some attention with overhauls. i always try my best to set up a khajiit modlist but always fall short in a few spots lets hope we get more in the future!
Great video! I really enjoy watching your videos - they're so cheerful and well-edited and always show me something new. Now I want to play a Khajiit again!
OMG i can't get enough listening to your intro when you're doing khajiit accent 🤩🤩... I love sa'chil khajiit follower, i just wish you will voice a khajiit follower one day!!!
One VERY important detail I notice and need to point out! The followers Ma'kara and Sa'riq were not named unintentionally. Makara is Arabic for Cunning, and Sariq is Arabic for thief. I don't think the other followers have Arabic names though. It's definitely pretty neat that the modder thought them through so well. Another detail about the base game, Redguards do have real life middle eastern names. Nazeem is an Arab name meaning "Organized one" , Ahlam's name means "Dreams" Nazir's name (or more accurately, Nudhiir or Naudhir) could either mean "Keen watcher" or "Headmaster", by the characters pronunciation of his name, it's likely the first one, meaning Keen Watcher. Rayya means open grassy land. I don't think Saadia's name has any real meaning though I did find a source claiming it means princess, but her real name, Iman, means Faith (which is ironically fitting considering she betrayed her homeland and changed her name). Source: am arab, edited for clarity
These all look nice and improve the game more. In my neighborhood, there are 3 or 4 cats that live around a home. The cats were bought and have a owner. I can see them everyday.
Could you tell me where you got that two-hander weapon in 15:37? Looks like a proper Lucerne, one of my favourite weapons (Also I'm apparently your 667th commenter, time to make a video about Goats)
Since I'm on the Xbox version, I'll show you what I have for Khajiit kind: Night vision toggle Beast Skeletons Monstrous Beauty Bundle Proud and Beastly bundle And the Lunar Guard set is available in the Xbox too.
I had originally uninstalled skyrim but had reinstalled it today, before I uninstalled there were little videos about khajiit mods, but now that I have reinstalled I see this video! Thank you!
Great vid! Please do this kind of video with every race in Skyrim. The game lacks differences between the races, like the ones you fixed here. I wish to se more Argonian or Orc content!
Correct me if im wrong but arnt the khajeet "types" dependent on the phases of the 2 moons? so that only khajeet of certain types can be born under those moons? and the moons phases have a like 100 year cycle?
A couple cute mods you can get add a some Khajit kittens. One mod ads them as parts of the caravans and the other adds a couple that can be adopted. The caravan one can be bit breaking as they add bunch spells and basically opens up the ability to fence things early.
Super thankful for this video and will absolutely be using some of these mods for my next play through. I’ve been needing an excuse to try something new. Would also love to see a video like this for Argonians, if ever you’ve the time to do so.
I’ve been using the JKJ mod for the last 6 months ish absolute gold love the changes it brings to the caravan members and other in the game. The fluffy tails is a mod I will check out and use I don’t play as a cat but I generally like mods that alter the races to make them more unique.
I love all of these! The Khajiit are my favorite to play; I wish I could mod my game to actually have these but still I loved watching your video. Great job!
By the way, your accent is already perfectly fine for a Khajiit, you just need the speech pattern. :D While I never really played a Khajiit, pretty much all my friends play as a Khajiit (I tend toward Orc), I really appreciated this video. The Khajiit weapons and armor looked great; except that Moon Sickle (or w/e it's called) is facing the wrong way when swung. Based on the damage a real sickle made for combat would do (Thanks, Skallagrim!) it should definitely be classed as a one-handed sword. lol I have a new appreciation for my Khajiit friends now!
You said in the beginning that "all the khajiit names will be mispronouced" but I personally love your way of saying them :) Sounds just about how I'd say them myself
It would be cool if there was a mod that made the Khajiit more fluffy overall. I saw a mod that did the same for werewolves since their texture is pretty flat. It would be nice to have fluffy Khajiit. Also a mod that gave them more cat-like behaviors. For example, similarly to how in the vanilla game whenever Khajiit are fighting their ears do airplane mode, it would be super funny if Khajiit tails did the raccoon tail thing that house cats do whenever threatened. Also if Khajiit meowed, purred, hissed, and growled but the sound was of an actual cat voice actor instead of a human trying to imitate a cat.
@@BardsCollegeGraduate yknow what, it turns out the game's at a huge deal right now, so i think i will ^-^ once again time to bust out the khajiiti naming conventions wiki page and fashion a new character :3
Awesome mods that seem to cover most of the bases. It's one of the annoying things about vanilla: there are merchants who supposedly sell goods from other provinces, and yet they sell exactly the same stuff! The Khajiit should be selling unique clothes, armor, jewelry etc from Eleweyr, and potentially Cyrodiil, Valenwood and Alinor. The other merchants should sell a range of goods from other provinces too, depending on their location, access to the sea and trade partners.
Wait... You're *NOT* Khajiit? This is an excellent review of themed mods! I'm gonna haveta check out your channel, now. Warm winds find you wherever you fare beneath the Twin Moons. =^[.]^=
When someone says sorry I'm going to butcher all of these names pronunciation and then proceed to totally ace it 🙄😅 Love the Khajiit, coming back to Skyrim and playing as one now. Also interesting piece of lore is that they sort of share a common ancestor with the Bosmer May your roads lead to warm sands 🙌
Haha! When recording, I was sure that I would completely butcher the names but an inner Khajiit overcame me :') Have fun on your new Khajiit playthrough! This one hopes it'll be awesome!! :D
@@BADDTV Well, if we look at the title (14 best mods) he SHOULD be there... :D He belongs in there! But I didn't want to waste anyone's time by including him, idk if there's any sense to this xD and thank you!
@@BardsCollegeGraduate Oh Inigo is certainly worthy of a spot, BUT, yes, i agree, its nice to see a video with by in large "not as popular" pods rather then just the same 14 over n over, should add SkyUI to the next one ;)
Now I want to reinstall my skyrim, my favorite race finally got improvements thanks to all modders and you update: unfortunately Project ja-Kha'jay and Khajiit Has Wares now hidden by the author
@@BardsCollegeGraduate sad news, the creator take a break from Nexus because there's a users that keep harassing her with toxic speech, all because she refused to do what they wanted
Dear Bards College Graduate, i just found your channel and your voice sounds somewhat familiar to M'rissi from the follower mod: M'rissi: Tails of trouble.
I hope in ES6 we get the option to play as one of the OTHER breeds of humanoid Khajiit; we see more "animalistic" ones depicted in art and even fight a few throughout the games, yet without mods we can't use them ourselves. I mean, most Khajiit breeds we can play as are just humans with cat heads, fur, and claws; I'd rather have something like Guild Wars Charr, who are actually digitgrade bipeds, without the odd horns and 4 ears of course.
Wow! I like Kajiits) I created a full-voiced follower Kajiit) And many people, especial girls likes him) Me too) Your video ..awersome! Appearance: Khajiit Eyes Extended a great idea!)
Man... Mods will outlive tes 6 if it goes on booming like this... It's just awesome how much it has improved and how people are still making the most creative works ever. But I stopped to care and play with my skyrim le Still :) I only get 30 fps outdoors with my laptop so I stopped engaging in collecting mods
i'm gonna be honest here and it may be un-popular opinion but i prefer the vanilla look over ja-kha'jay mod. The "Khajitt will follow" mod on the otherhand sound really great but i wonder, how well does the mod work when played with a game in another language? will only the dialog and quest related stuff be in english or will the mod break some other stuff too? in the past , i had mods who suddenly turned half the game english even thought the stuff was not related to the mod
Is there a mod that adds the Khajiit variants fro ja-Kha'jay, into the character creator? I wanna play as an 8 foot tall tiger unit on two legs. Wielding a two hander obviously.
