We were stuck with a qb who only got us to the playoffs twice in 10 years. Herbert has gotten his team to the playoffs in less than that twice all with a coach who was as bad a mcdaniels.
Dan knows davante Adams is old now, he's not fast. And he mentioned him as having uncatchable targets. Major decline for davante. He went from a season leading 14tds to 7 or 8. He's not worth the money they paid.

But seeing as they haven't gotten offered what they want, they don't know what could happen. If they get a call during the draft for their 2nd pick, and it's what they want, they'd be willing to trade. For example if Harbaugh calls and offers them Herbert and other picks, they'd be willing to trade the 2nd pick to the Chargers.
