Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi have been sentenced to 14 years in prison, a day after the former Pakistan prime minister was jailed for 10 years.
Khan, who was ousted as PM by his opponents in 2022, is already serving a three-year jail term after being convicted of corruption.
On Tuesday he was sentenced for leaking state secrets, and on Wednesday given 14 years in another corruption case.
Khan has said the numerous cases against him are politically motivated.
Khan retains immense popularity across the country but has been barred from standing in the 8 February vote. His party, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has also faced campaigning restrictions.

There's a difference. The UK government are corrupted, hence sunak is still in power. Imran Khan was honest, and he threatened Israel with the military if ever they touched Palestine. That's why America wanted him removed. Sent an email to corrupt members of the Pakistan government, but it also went to Khan, so when he tried to tell the world their plans, he got done for revealing top secret information and "corruption".

Whole his opposition is playing politics with him. This can actaully have negative affect on women in Pakistan who are stuck in violent relationships and have to pay through the nose in court cases for divorces.

And he was already convicted for the same offence in Aug. Your reporter doesn’t know what case he was already jailed for. She needs to do research. All three case are botched trials. And you cannot do double jeopardy, even by Pakistan’s law.
