I did the same to my 23 a few weeks ago. I also picked up the TACO MOTO CO. Sidewinder fuel line that comes with 4 OEM style band clamps. Took a bit of noodling before committing to cutting the hose, but it now looks and works 100%. Keep the videos coming.

Thanks for this, was able to use a bunch of this to install on my 23’. Used the horizontal factory fuel line.

Hi mate, thanks for doing the work for us!! I should have my IMS 17ltr arriving for my '23 Husky 501 in a couple of weeks and I very much appreciate that you've done this video. I've been enjoying your journey! Cheers, from Brisbane Australia

This single comment made doing it worth it - thanks, truly. I'm pleased with mine so far. The two connection points at the radiator (the alum brackets) are not a design flaw but are annoying with repeated install/removal. I think a better look from IMS is in order for sure. I'm running the bike right now on pavement at above 8,200 feet or 2,500 meters - so it is difficult to tell yet what range I will truly get out of it. I'm between 185-205 miles per 4.5 gallon or 290-329 kilometers to 17L tank. I sure hope I get more than that when I come out of the cold winter and out of altitude. If not, a gas bag will be in order to cross the high desert plans from Baggs, WY to Dutch John, UT this summer. Not much out there!

Yeah, Tacomoto sells the 90° fuel pickup that's not indexed so you can orient it however you want. They also have the Sidewinder fuel line that has all the bends you might need. I used a little extra line so if someone needs gas I can undo the hose clamp. Thanks for the video!

Bingo - good call out. I think at the time they weren't in stock or I didn't have the cash on hand to purchase. But that's a better option for sure.

You don't need to take plastics off to remove stock fuel tank😊

No 💩 shirlock. 4:02 - we took off more plastics for additional work I was doing. Thanks for wasting your time.

I'd just fill up that tank and let it sit for 2-3 days then drain it clean and refilter and put it back on. You'd be surprised how much plastic shavings are there..

We all know how to open boxes. Why waste time on that.

Understanding what comes in the package is helpful to a lot of people, especially when the website isn't super clear. Again, thanks for wasting your time.
