When I first played IMSCARED, I didn't know what to expect. As I played through the game, I screamed. I cried. I whimpered. Something games never did to me until this game released. Seeing as its now 1 Year old, happy birthday whiteface.
I admit i wasn't expecting much of this game,just like it is with any pixelated game to me. But now that's like one of my favorites horror games ever. The atmosfere and the theme are amazing. I just love Meta games so much,and the fact that involves the real player,not just a chara,makes things a lot creepier and a lot more interesting too. More games like this need to be done. This game is definitely one of my favorite horror experiences ever, right alongside Silent Hill 2 and the Resident Evil Remake. If you ever make new horror games, I'd be very excited to play them!

Ciao Ivan, non so se lo leggerai mai ma mi volevo congratulare con te per questo capolavoro! Non è un gioco dove fa paura ma un gioco dove mette molta ansia e inquietudine. Un gioco molto sottovalutato che dovrebbe avere molta più visibilità!

hi ivan! i certainly hope you read this but im not at all sure if you still check this channel or will even see it in the flood of notifications... i just wanted to thank you for creating this game. it has made a lasting impact on me ever since the 2012 demo, during which i was about 10 or 11. i remember being so incredibly freaked out by whiteface, just because of his design (i later found out that this is because I am very scared of a particular trope called ghostly gape, which whiteface pretty much has) . i worked the game into many of my child creations, including a strange crossover fanfiction. okami and imscared dont go together at all, but that's the magic of being 11 i guess lol. whiteface also ended up inspiring my longest kept original character. when i recently found that the game had been expanded upon in 2016, i was very surprised. i hadn't heard anything about it until a few weeks ago when i was scrolling through john wolfe's channel. i thought it was actually the 2012 version and clicked out of nostalgia, but was startled upon realizing that it was longer now. i watched to the end, which chilled me to the core. loneliness will probably forever impact me and my creative decisions because of just how incredibly abrupt it was. i ended up becoming so infatuated with the game and concept of whiteface again that i asked a friend for 4$ and bought it on steam. i made the mistake of playing it while home alone in the dark, and even though i was on a call with my boyfriend, nothing could calm me down. i ended up muting everything (the call as well) to avoid hearing whiteface's static call in the tag segment, because it was just so insanely scary. i did get caught, after which i decided i should probably Not Play It Alone. i picked it up the next day when someone else was in the house and managed to make it to the end. of course, i chose the flower ending, not only because loneliness is permanent (and im not clever enough to go messing with .ini files), but because i actually became quite fond of whiteface and his shenanigans. i was disappointed to see that the fanbase for this game is pretty much dead, although considering the game came out 3 years ago, i guess that's to be expected. the gramophone maze bit did bug me a good amount because the audio glitched out, and i essentially had to just wander randomly until i stumbled upon them. this became less annoying when i realized i could easily outrun and confuse HER. HER's chapter in general was very interesting to me and definitely the toughest area in my opinion. everything in general was just wonderful, including the soundtrack. the 3 notes of the piano in the beginning (as well as the off tune ones) were strangely beautiful to me, and i would always let the intro play out rather than skipping it. anyway, to sum it up, thank you so much for creating my favorite horror game of all time. i recently included a picture of whiteface on my english and creative writing portfolio (which are basically folders we decorate that hold our work) and mentioned that the game was my favorite and left a lasting impact on me. ps. oops sorry this is so extremely long... it's my favorite game so i kinda went on a rant about it. actually im pretty sure im supposed to be working on an essay right now and i think i put much more effort into this than i will to that. anyway thanks if you managed to even read this far

Ivan, Imscared is one of my favorite games all time. And now that you finished Firework, is there any chance a sequel of Imscared coming out any other time soon? This game means a lot to me. Since it's one of the scariest and most creative games I've ever played, and I didn't have the money to buy it, so a friend of mine bought it for me. When I downloaded the game, I couldn't play it. I was so scared. But I ended up finishing it (after one or 2 years). And I love it! Thank you for creating this masterpiece of a game.

A brilliant masterpiece of a game. A horror experience I’ll never forget. Each time I play, I always give White Face the flower. I don’t want it to be lonely. I hope that in the remastered version White Face gets some voice lines. I remember in the green light trailer it spoke and it was spine-chilling, but endearing. Ivan, I have a problem with the game Imscared, I got all the achievements and I'm at the "A great place" folder part, when I paste the yt link it says that there isn't any video related to the link. I tried to just type "Take me to the door" in the what is my name part but it doesn't do anything, so I suppose I have to watch da video first, any way to fix this?
