Yeah, it went from, "Wow! Luffy's so strong! He's almost at the top, he can beat anyone!" And then some chapters later THIS happened and it was a completely hopeless feeling. Even if you read the manga and know the true origin of the lasers, it doesn't matter, it's a terrible, horrible power to possess. And it's always been out there since the beginning of One Piece, when Luffy destroying Arlong Park was a huge and crazy looking thing. (Also I feel like Film Red's creature, Tot Musica, was perhaps Oda's way of telling us how colossal things were about to get. If the right people hadn't been there, that creature would've been damn near undefeatable.)

I love how those 2 names work. The drums can be played by one person, however they can also be joined by others. They are easy and fun, they set the rhythm of everything around you. The idea of dancing with drums, makes one think of something playful and without restrictions The orchestra is the opposite. Orchestras require large people, all playing their predetermined parts. You must follow what the conductor does, or you throw off everything. Dancing in an orchestra is a strict thing, you must wear restricted clothes and dance in a certain pattern, you cannot break away. An orchestra and drums are the perfect representation of the World Govt and Luffy

Thats not how it works. The anime does the episodes months in advance, the episode was alredy done for a while, they took a week off because of the holidays

that adds a lot to it i feel: even while doing horrible shit and destroying the lives of countless people, Imu isn't even affected. They jsut dance in their garden with their butterflies, utterly oblivious and uncaring as to what they jsut did. They don't bask in their villainy like other villains, they are utterly detached.

Ep 1089 covered pages 10-19 of 1060 then went 2 pages into 1061. So if they keep up this pace then we should hear Sabo’s retelling in about 10-15 episodes max. So about 3-4 months
