Simply silly! I Drove around Australia in a Holden STW using a mattress in the back. Had some boxes to store things and they could easily be moved to the front seat in order to get room for sleeping in the car.

Too much galley for that much bed. Certainly not stealth. Nice craftsmanship, though, and interesting to see what works for you.

Way too much work for nothing. all you need is a basic bed for the SUV, and throw that other stuff in the back and unload it in 2 minutes into your tent. Boom done. I have a bed in back of my SUV, and a pull out table under it. Then on the side is any camping gear.

rubbish too much wasted space all for lazy luxury be more practical use the space for useful the big mattress is not really needed minimise & get more simple fun you will be surprised less is really more in practice more fun less stress less work setting up & loading up try designing your own setup a simple one
