That's why our species truly sucks ass, and hopefully never populates another planet. Currently we don't deserve the wonderful planet we have yet we want more.
@@dequavisjones4869 We deserve more, if its there unclaimed it needs to be taken, there is plenty in space which is why it pisses me off that we fight over what little we have.
In a situation like that, nationality goes out the window. It's all about maintaining the station so that we can all survive. That's the priority in my mind.
The ISS is totally dependent on the Earth for Everything… Space is Deadly, their brains are shrinking, their bone density reducing, their immune system breaking down, etc… So there is Zero chance for them to survive beyond a year… There is No Priority/Hope…
Why in the hell would the government of each aggressor tell their crew to take "control" of the station? How do they take "control"? I dig the premise but it looks ludicrous on how it's executed.
Reality: As soon as the devices started detonating underneath them, every electrical sysyem onboard would be fried and they would all die within hours... or quicker.
The language spoken on the ISS is English. Everyone that goes to the ISS knows it. There is no language barrier. Plus, a lot of Astronauts learn Russian too.
Currently, there are nine countries in the world which are known or suspected to possess nuclear weapons, with Russia and the US having significantly more than other nations. Two-thirds of Britons (66%) believe that no nation should possess nuclear weapons, YouGov’s Big Survey on NATO and War shows. This sentiment is more pronounced among women (73%) than men (59%). Around a quarter (23%) think that nuclear weapons should be limited only to countries that possess them now. Men (32%) are twice as likely as women (14%) to say this. Just 4% think that other countries should be free to pursue the development of nuclear arms.
The logic behind the taking control of the station maybe recon, see enemy movement, etc. I can't think of any other reason. Does ISS have that kind of function?
that ending. what a ... ending. most of the world is ocean, but what isnt is pockmarked with blast craters and radiation, they probably should have been very selective about where to land.
@@info_foxI’m down. Teach AI to be more human. We need to controlled and disciplined by AI. Everyone equally. We make trash decisions and need to be oppressed.
@@sidsuspicious naw I speak for you 2 bro. You just wanna get away from being oppressed. There is nothing wrong with being oppressed if every human is oppressed equally. The rich and the poor. All would face the same consequences for any disobedience.
@@info_fox Movies have been garbage for over a decade, i bet AI can do a better job. Let chatGPT direct Avatar 3 for example, can't do a worse job than whoever is the clown writing it.
@@benrussell-gough1201I can only imagine it like this: If President Trump nuked Russia and Putin nuked the US, I'd be mad at Trump and Putin. My friends Alexi and Kira had nothing to do with it.
It still need periodic boosting to higher orbit since at the height it is orbiting there is still a residual amount of air outside, slightly slowing its velocity and lowering its orbit. The space outside at 400 km isnt totally a vacuum.
@@hjmuhdfirdaus3038 indeed, even real space have many atoms but its getting more and more empty the further away from the planet. I think the emptiest part in space had like 100 atoms or something which is very little
The ISS is within a 'danger zone' where it is skipping off of the top of Earth's atmosphere, steadily being braked into anuncontrolled re-entry. This is corrected IRL by regular 'reboosts' by either the Soyuz or the Cargo Resupply vehicles, pushing the ISS back up before it can burn up in the atmosphere. An on-board reboost module was defunded in the 1990s as unnecessary along with a six-seat life-pod in the event of a failure of both Soyuz spacecraft..
I've often said it's the politicians that're the problem, not the people. The crew of the ISS should tell the politicians to do with themselves. I;d lock Biden, Putin and Jinping in the airlock and tell them to start seeing sense otherwise the wrong door opens or I push the wrong button, both for for the right reason...
Dude, they are Just talking heads, none of them actually makes decisions And even with Russia, US and China gone, someone like india and iran will replace them and the cycle will continue
There was a plan sent up to the ISS on the 50th anniversary of Apollo-XI about placing the staiton in lunar orbit to act as the first step in building a moonbase. All hypothetical as the station doesn't have enough propulsion capacity for the trans-lunar injection.
@@Kumire_921 Use the time to work out how to override the Soyuz capsule's ground-controlled guidence and navigation. Then plot a descent to land in a part of the Earth that is still untouched by the war like a bit of Africa or South America.
Hi, every school kid knows nuclear waster / fall out will be spread by the winds There is no real safe place, even a isolated spot will have limited supply of fresh drinkable water ( in bottles ) and food Most people in cities do not know how to farm the lad, what are you going to do, go to a nursery or hardware shop and buy seeds and plant them and wait - no good watering them with radioactive water
Fallout diminishes over time, and some areas would be livable in a few weeks. The worst areas like where there were many ground bursts take much longer. The "every school kids knows" stuff is MAD propaganda. Meant to prevent nuclear war. But it is wrong. There would be survivors.
That's proven false areas not involved would have limited or no real effects, The main effect would be a new world order would arise most likely an south America country like Brazil taking the lead.
@@floydlawsen Absolute rubbish. Where do you get this nonsense? In a total nuclear exchange, areas would remain "hot" for decades. The ozone layer would be compromised if not destroyed. Water would be contaminated. There would be no electricity. All those nuclear power plants, which never should have been built, would melt down and rupture, spewing radioactivity for decades. Nuclear winter would drop the Earth's temperature to near 0 degrees for years. All plants/crops (those not initially killed by radioactivity) would die. The Trinity site, the Nevada test site and the Marshall Islands remain contaminated to this day. Stop spreading your patent disinformation.
They should have tried to ride it out until their almost out of rations and then go back the amount of food they had was for what 6 people for several months I’d assume now will 2 people left it would last at least a year especially if they spread it out even further as well as jettison the mice into space as they’ll only make your food run out faster as well as when they do die you’re not gonna want a rotting corpse on a space station
That is a different kind of movie. You follow the aircrew of a American bomber and the moral dilemma they face fighting in a accidental limited nuclear war
They want us to hate each other so bad, and that's why they make movie's like this😞 When in actuality it's the supposed leader's that are greedy demons hellbent on controlling the world with their ge----dal missions😷
Sadly our species will probably end up being just another civilization buried beneath the ocean as it repeats itself smh . Hopefully nuclear war doesn’t happen
Nuclear war is way overhyped. People thought the same way about the machine gun before WW1. It’ll probably happen and will eventually be just another chapter in history books.
that why alien decide not to visit earth. Because they see no sign of intelligent as human are fighting each other when no extraterrestrial even bother about earth
The UK acquired its first nuclear weapons in 1952 and currently has no more than 260 nuclear warheads which are operated only from submarines. Three in ten Britons (29%) say this makes them feel safer, but a quarter of the population (24%) report feeling less safe. Four in ten (39%) say they feel neither safe nor unsafe and 8% say they don’t know. These results are similar to when we ran the same question in April 2022. Men are twice as likely as women (39% vs 20%) to say that the UK having nuclear weapons makes them feel safer. Also, those who voted Conservative in 2019 are more than twice as likely as 2019 Labour supporters to hold this view (43% vs 20%).
Beginning: "We are all one.. no diversity... no politics" 20 min later: "Aight we gonna kill everyone because you a different country than us. gg we all dead" Stupid movie plot
I wonder how hellish it would be to land down there in the middle of the fiery US. Must be super terrifying, because there’s nowhere to got no matter how far everything is on fire. Although I wonder where the people on the comms are even staying safe at.
So stupid. Such a stupid premise. They would remain friends. Also the black lady would have been. Comfortable with weightlessness through several years of astronaut training using simulations in a diving plane and I. The water.
If the mice this is true, then why not put things in their cages? Like, have rope and wooden planks attached to the cage so they dont float. That way, they can see that they can learn how to move around.
This movies kinda dumb. I mean if there is a nuclear war that is an absolute travesty with the biggest loss of human life in history. The last thing you are thinking is to fight each other, then everyone dies just like down below
The people who are above me in the sky right now are super brave and cool for doing this task. However I’m terrified of heights and would be the absolute worst candidate for such a job lmao.
In space you do not get afraid of heights, believe me, you are floating, and you focus on the beauty for earth, and the "terrifying" thing of heights (I understand your fears lol) is gone
Just wrapped up watching it literally 30 seconds ago. It’s not worth the watch save your time. I’ll make this short and sweet. All of the characters for the most part are hard to attach to. The movie tries to make them somewhat endearing but they all are too bland or robotic to genuinely feel bad for anyone (maybe besides nika/gordon). Everyone who died I really didn’t care for and the fight sequences were just boring. They lacked stakes which is kind of weird considering their fighting over controlled of the I.S.S. They just were mid compared to Life if anyone’s seen that movie. Now that shit had me screaming 😂 ohhh did I forget to mention that a good 20% of this movies dialogue is in Russian with 0 subtitles? Literally MAJOR plot points are spoken in Russian like the literal CLIMAX/FINALE but ofc I couldn’t understand shit since I speak only English. If u don’t speak Russia good luck enjoying this movie. As I mentioned earlier, many parts of the move lacked stakes and that has a lot to do with the language barrier seeing as you never know what the Russians are planning, thinking, or saying truly 99% of the time. Hell even the Americans speak Russian a fair bit and even then I don’t know what they’re saying 😂😂😂 skip this movie and go watch life. Now THAT will make u yearn for a part 2
I'd have stabilized the station first, also I would have thaught they would've tried landing where there was no war to develop the vaxeen from in safety
I can't imagine that you sleep well, especially as you have to strap yourself to the bed to avoid floating away. That would annoy me immensely, especially as when I'm lying in bed with my eyes closed, I look for the most comfortable spot on the pillow with my head and the most comfortable positions for my arms. When I have found the most comfortable positions, I become very calm. The last thing I do is turn on my audiobook. I would simply lack the freedom of movement in my arms, and I would also feel very uncomfortable strapped in like that, even if I strapped myself in. I can never sleep like that. I also prefer to sleep in complete darkness, and that's not possible on the ISS because there are always lights or buttons on. I also highly doubt that the cot is comfortable for sleeping. On Earth, I can sleep anywhere, on the floor, on the grass or in the forest, as long as I have a blanket and a pillow. You can always build a soft base outside from moss, long blades of grass and leaves.
Here's the problem with this whole movie. Unless a cargo vessel docs with the ISS every 6 months and pushes it into a higher orbit, it will fall out of the sky. Period. Full Stop! So, at this point the whole point of watching the movie isn't about them tearing the ship apart or trying to figure out a way to survive. It would be to have the very last set of launches from every space agency around the world send cargo to build a refuge for humanity, or to watch the people on teh ISS slowly die as the space station decends and burns up. There is one other possible scenario .. aliens stop by. Yup! They thought humanity would make it through, but just as they arrive, they get to pop the popcorn, watch the fireworks, debate about saving the last humans, or determine when to return to earth and colonize it. (Wait, that was done already .. I think Nicolas Cage was in that movie!)
5:30 didn't know radX and radaway were in this. Come on writers wtf😂😂😂 Ah ok no thankfully the writers didn't actually trip over their own umbilical cord
