I'm 21, I subscribed for the weird and fun art. 😁 I think the first video I saw of yours was one of your nuke toon paintings. I can relate with the creative constipation though, online college has been draining my brain and a lil bit of my soul. I've had creative constipation months. 😂 In all seriousness, I think your videos are great!
I'm 34 and a lady- I found you when you had first quit your job and were making art full time. I think you're getting spicy comments on this vid bc alt art RU-vid already slants toward 20-something guys anyway (Ten hun, kiptoe, struthless, slew, curriegoat). I love all these guys and subscribe to all of them, but it does feel like a cool kids only club sometimes. I know that's not how you meant for it to come off in your video (as I saw you explain to someone else). I just think it's a sore spot for a lot of female or older viewers and highlights a dynamic of not always being welcome in that cool kid (re: male, young, mostly white) art space on YT. Anyway, I hope you keep making vids and take care of yourself. You remind me so much of my brother, and I can't have you panicking or being miserable. Unless it's that stage of an art project where you hate everything.. in which case yeah, it's hell, keep going and it'll turn out fine. :)
Thank you for understanding. I have zero issue with any age range watching my vids. The people I’m not a fan of are the ones that never watch anything else after one vid. I definitely didn’t explain it properly based on the reactions im seeing so I’m going to try and clear it up in my next vid. Plenty more creations coming soon and hopefully they really start to bring in people with similar interests.
Interesting perspective! I watch Spvcecase, Ten Hun, Kiptoe and Slew, among others. I am 37, but never ever thought about them being directed to young male audiences, or felt excluded as an audience member. If I love the art and process, I stay and I watch for many years. I think that as long as everyone has that happy warm feeling watching the videos and art that is what matters in the end. 😀
Duuude I'm a middle age lady who purchased your art. (Not a house wife btw) Why can't we be the audience you are looking for? No hate, this is a serious question here. Do you want a bunch of children watching your content? Or just strickly men? This video was about you, not the demographics... but oof man you stabbed me right in the ouchies :(
I literally say the people that subscribe and then never watch another video. This doesn’t apply to the people that fall into that demographic, but actually do watch the videos. You obviously aren’t a part of that group that I’m talking about. You’re reading too far into one aspect of what I said instead of looking at it as a whole. If you aren’t a house wife that thinks I should only be doing tiedye, then you aren’t who I was speaking of.

Idk I actually found you from that viral tie-dye video so maybe that's why I gots my feelings hurt 🤣 As for the eye twitchy and channel stuffs I think you should just keep pushing out content that you like. Your crew will come to you. The algorithm can be blamed for pushing your videos to people who subscribe and never return. Usually creators have the problem of tons of views and no subs/ returning viewers. Your art is awesome and I know you can get going in the direction you want if you keep doing your thing.
I didn’t really like what you said but I’m gonna give you some constructive advice first. Example on my channel I like to create all sorts of different types of art videos but when I looked at my analytics I realized that people subscribed to me because they like for me to do portrait tutorials that’s how RU-vid works so I realize if I wanted to keep growing my channel I needed to either continue to do portrait tutorials and niche down with that or start a whole new channel because I created the tone for my channel in the beginning so I can’t complain about it now right. So you see where I’m going with this that’s the story that’s how RU-vid works unfortunately if you put out some random video that you’re not really interested in and he goes viral or it’s really popular that sets the tone for your channel it’s not your subscribers fault that they don’t want to see all your other random videos. I happen to be part of the 40 and over gang that subscribed to your channel and it wasn’t for the tie-dye video and I think it’s really disgusting and rude for you to have a whole rant that you’re upset that a certain demographics or age group subscribed to your channel so I’m gonna do you a favor and unsubscribe. Your an Aries ♈️ and your young and arrogant so I know it’s gonna take you some time to really soak in what I’m saying but I know you hear me stop stop being rude and stay humble. 😒
