This dude said Shakur gonna beat tank cause of defense he can’t knock out what he can’t hit bro Shakur gotta hit tank too tank got defense too why they acting like we ain’t see the de Los santos fight
Lol idk. Also This notion that Shakur doesn't lose rounds is laughable. Shakur barely won the Dela Santos fight. 1 point on one card and like 2-3 points on the others.
@@nightryder16 bro he got gifted that win because he a top rank fighter fighting a pbc fighter on top rank lol that shit was a draw but it goes to show how corrupt this shit is all he had to do was survive and he won
Why didn’t Loma fight Devin when he was mandatory?? Why didn’t Loma fight Shakur for the WBC??? Loma wanted to fight a 22yr old featherweight in Tank and Floyd was in control of his career. Yall forget Tank didn’t wanna fight Rolly but Floyd made it happen
Shakur may be the agile vehicle but tank isn’t going to try to hit a target that’s evasive. He’s the tank that’s going to shoot missiles at the ground to disable the agile vehicles evasiveness. Because now with a bunch a giant potholes in the ground within the parameters they’re fighting in it’s hard for the agile vehicle to get around without getting stuck in one of those potholes. And the tank only needs that other vehicle to get stuck long enough to send the direct hit. Gervonta doesn’t rely on his missiles but on his ability to deny you any escape from his missiles.
mate i remember loma being the underdog against haney due to size and people thinking he was past his prime due to his age after seeing him against jamaine ortiz
@@AmericanJohnGrassLoma looked bad vs Ortiz before he fought Haney. Heard none of the old Loma talk. He looked great against Kambosos. Stopped em even tho 23 yr old Haney couldn't. Now he's a lil long in the tooth? They do have a bias against Tank because they all are tied to ESPN and Top Rank
The most Amazing show ever. Met Pauli in my gym. Was a big fan until he made surprising comments. Teddy…Genius. Always respected Chris because he did so much with so little. That’s special.
We can’t take it personal there paid to this your going to call someone with 10kos against someone with 28kos the better fighter that’s what there paid to do. This shit ain’t real.
i like Shakur, i've seen probably every fight, but the truth is he does not like to get punched. He will not trade punches or take one to get off a few... he either runs for 8 rounds or he is totally dominant.
@@DoctorEduardothat’s how you stay popular with that style🤷♂️😂when you actually have to think on a high level for 12 rounds you’ll see why they don’t want to fight shakur!
@@jordansmith704Tank thinks on that high level that you are speaking of! It’s no coincidence that he is able to place those perfect shots fight after fight!
@@deonnaharlan512 shakur not gone sit in a corner and wait to get knocked out🤷♂️shakur not gone throw the same shot 3 times in a row and get knocked out sitting in a corner. Shakur not gone sit there and trade in the pocket all night like 130 pounder Hector Garcia. Shakur not gone rush in constantly throwing a hook until he get countered(Ryan Garcia). Tank picking these opponents to look good. Only has a punchers chance against shakur and even his fans will tell you that. “What shakur gone do when he get hit” like shakur hasn’t been all over the world fighting top opposition. Shakur has seen a tank many more times than tank has seen a shakur. Who do you think will have a tougher time finding sparring partners to prepare for one another when the fight is made?
@@AmericanJohnGrass Because they always say Shakur because he doesn’t get hit…. The fighters they put in front of him are not threats power wise other than Edwin and we seen what happened with that 💯
I absolutely loved the analysis. Shakur Stevenson is the best fighter. I love that Paulie mentioned how tank was going business man route instead of taking on the best fighters, I'll also blame Floyd for some of that as well. Hopefully we get the fights.
Paulie giving Shakur credit for calling guys out? Saying if Loma was the current champ he would want that Tank fight but Loma didn't want the Shakur fight? Mental gymnastics. Dont try so hard
Shakur threw an average of 17 punches a round vs. De Los Santos and landed a total of 65 punches the entire fight. Usyk at HW threw an average of 34 punches per round vs. Fury and landed a total 170 punches. If Shakur was that afraid to engage with De Los Santos what does a fight with Tank even look like?
Paulie is a hater he hates tank Davis how the hell can Shakur be the man with that fake resume if we're talking about how the hell can Shakur be the man he ain't for nobody so Paula you're not making any sense
The guy has never held two belts in that division and has one belt how can he be the most dominant if he hasn't fought the others?? Lol like what?? I understand fanboys but yall gotta wait to call some the greatest fighter in boxing which he isn't unless your biased no way you have tank in front of usyk the real number 1 p4p fighter or crawford then you're not a real boxing fan
If Shakur is a next level talent, then he should be stopping these fools like inoue & bam. In boxing you don't win rounds with defense, you win fights by punching the other guy.
@connorhighland6783 Lomacheko does have power. It's deceptive because he doesn't load up often, but don't be fooled. When he has a man either hurt or tired, you see the power in his punches. He really sits down.
for me Tanks best win was Pitbull Cruz. Tank outboxed an animal! I think Cruz can beat anyone in that division because not only does he have great pressure he has a granite chin and a helmet like HEAD who Tank outboxed with one hand! In my opinion Tank is the top dog and takes out shakur in the later rounds
Sure in the hell is not tank. Bud Crawford easily the most exciting you are watching a artist who is fighting the top guys and making them look amateur unlike Tank, who just fights nobodies, and then once he fights a good fighter, like pitbull, he runs for the exit all night. Terence Crawford’s undisputed in multiple ways classes while going for undisputed and his third weight class tank hasn’t accomplice shit at 30 years old because he picks and chooses who he fights no respect for that.
I like this show, but at times I wonder if Paulie either doesn't know that Loma is on Top Rank with Shakur, he thinks that we don't know he's on Top Rank with Shakur, or he's on Loma's payroll. I want to see all of them fight, but how can you claim Tank is avoiding Loma and Shakur, but in the same breath ignore the fact that Shakur has been calling out Loma (who is his stable mate) to no avail. Then, have the audacity to say that Loma wants the challenge and desires to fight them all. Shakur vs Loma is BY FAR the easiest fight to make and has been for a very long time. Hopefully, they all get made though.
Tank is a great fighter, but in a typical Las Vegas-sized 22 ft by 22 ft ring, Shakur Stevenson outboxes Tank EASILY. Now in a standard Olympic sized ring (20 ft by 20 ft), or an even smaller 18 ft by 18 ft, Tank will likely catch Shakur at some point and knock him out. Keep in mind that the smallest ring size sanctioned for lightweight fighters is 16 ft by 16 ft.
Yeah I will believe that when I see it. I don't see Stevenson winning unless he runs around the ring for all 12. Stevenson still needs to go rematch Dos Santos.
@@OG.Bobby.Johnson.412 I understand your point but Tank can cut off the ring very effectively. Even if it is a bigger ring, Stevenson will have to come in and trade at some point. If Tank really wants to make the crowd boo Stevenson all he has to do is stand in the centre of the ring and wait. We'll see then whether Stevenson's actions match his words.
@@Eddybo22 It's a helluva fight. Shakur is a master at judging distance working off his jab which will cause Tank problems. It's obvious he does not possess Tank's power but his accuracy, timing, and IQ are all on par with Tank. That being said Tank has the "bright lights" experience that Shakur has yet to be in. That experience can not be understated
Tank can move, tank is cerebral, tank can do it all …so teddy, why did he duck gary russell, loma, haney, teo? Why does tank fight little guys, old guys, mediocrity?
Got to go with Tank after that demolition of Frank but for it to be official he has to take out Loma and Shakur. There's doubt with my pick but man it's going to be difficult for those two to avoid that Tank bomb for an entire fight. He reminds me of Mike Tyson but unlike Tyson who lost his ferociousness a little as the fight went on Tank seems to retain that bomb throughout the entire fight and it just feels like a matter of time. It's going to take a fighter with impeccable defense who fights the perfect fight and is blessed with a little luck to boot. But if anyone in, around, or near that division is going to do it it'll be one of those two dudes.
Haney hurt his career based on his last performance. I see Loma as being faster and stronger than most I couldn’t agree more with Loma’s positioning. Loma can be looked at as the south paw one dimensional Mexican style fighter. These gentleman by far are the best of the best.
Definitely and I’m not really a fan but he’s a must watch fighter for me. He’s one of the best I’ve ever seen, seems the smaller guys doing big things against bigger fighters have to be even more talented. Usyk, Inoue, Canelo , Tank usually always fight bigger guys than them.
No one is more talented than tank..shakur needs to prove himself more once he fights an elite guy then will know where he stands rn it’s tank if the fight was to be made rn tank would be the favorite to win on the bets
Bro boxing is a mans sport that being said means its a physically attracting sport so if you cant be physical with your defense then we dont wish to see that bs... Get in the ring and fight parry some punches block whatever Use head movements pivet whatever but damn just fight. Ppl keep saying this master defensive shit when its plainly running.. if you dont want to gwe hit find a different sport to play
Only people who have never been in the ring, disrespect boxers by calling them runners. My question is, where exactly can a boxer run in the ring? There are different styles in boxing and Shakur Stevenson, employs the style of a skilful fighter. Skilful boxers, use more movement, initiate but mostly counter punch opponents. The style is based on, hitting and not getting hit, which is the art of boxing. Defensive skills always separate fighters from the rest. Most generational talents are skilful. In recent history, starting with Ali, Leonard, Whitaker, Jones Jr, Mayweather, Lomachenko, Usyk and now Shakur. In fairness, I could go on and on. My point is, we all love to see action fights. As Roberto Duran and the young Mike Tyson proved, action fighters can be highly technical too. Sadly though, due to their style, action fighters rarely last long in boxing. Inoue and Beterbiev, known as action fighters, always talk about improving their skills. Beterbiev is always saying, he needs to learn more boxing. So stop with this running bs!
Paulie's take aint it. He said Tank dont fight Loma until he was old. Only months ago Shakur was asking for Loma. Did paule say that shakur is pathetic then ?
Because shakur wasn’t a factor as professional let alone at 135 a few years ago. While tank has been a high profile fighter at the same weight as lomachenko for years, even back when loma was unified. Tank didn’t want that fight then and even claimed Floyd was trying to set him up when Floyd mentioned the fight. I’m not picking sides, I think tank wins( and I thought he would win back then), but I’m bringing up some points.
Tank is the guy.. Shakur has great instincts and is a defense 1st fighter. Tank has great instincts but he's an offense 1st fighter and a master trap setter with an arsenal of 1 hitter quitters. Shakur doesn't take risks so he gets hit way less but Tank has a granite chin and will take more risks to set a trap. Shakur has to be perfect for 12 rounds while not taking risks vs Tank to win. Tank just needs him to make 1 mistake or open himself to a counter in 1 moment. I got the lion over the gazelle in this 1
Between Paulie and Tim Bradley, I'd love to see them in the ring with Tank. Both were mid level and have the nerve to call fans casuals because they want to see entertaining fights!. They are on Shakur's jock tighter than a cup.
Nobody is holding a candle to Tank… he is way above the rest and will prove it… but when will he get the respect?? Seems like nothing he does is good enough for most of the mainstream pundits. So many fight fans love him and respect him and are tired of the hating, bias BS against Tank. He’s got an iron chin, is a boxer who can fight any style he chooses, he adapts and he will knock you clean out with his accurate timing and power… Name me anyone else who can do that in his division!
They'll be no excuses because a KO is definitive... but if Shakur picks Tank apart like Bud did Spence or Floyd did Corrales then what will people have to say because that's a definite possibility 🤔
Tank is the man 140 down, none of these dudes have what it takes to stop him, none of these coaches beating Calvin and Kenny especially when they training Tank, yal reaching Shakur is not him, if he was he would rematch De la Santos but he wont coz he scared of the man, if he really that tough why didnt he push to fight Ryan, Edwin proved that Shakira has never been in there with the best at 135, yal hyping the man for beating Jamel and Valdez lmao Ryan stops both those dudes easy, Frank whoops those dudes too easy lol Shakira is not like that and i cannot wait for another elite fighter to expose him again
@@BKzChief that fact that they perform so well despite their age is part of the reason why they are so highly respected by fans. Lomachenko is no longer at his best, it's a literal fact. The vast majority of champions do not do well past 34. Especially those in the lower weight classes.
I had a STRONG feeling that there was going to be major dickriding for Shakur & boy was I right 🥴 PS. Ain’t no way shakur not paying Pauli cuz the way he talks about that man is as if his life depends on it
I'm glad that they're hyping Shakur like this. Tank should get full credit for beating him. Shakur, imo, is a a knockoff Winky Wright. Even Winky had more offense. Shakur is no Mayweather. Floyd could pick guys apart even if he wasn't getting knockouts. I got Tank knocking out both Loma and Shakur.
How is Lomachenko in a "difficult position" just because he might/would lose to the top guys at lightweight. Just take the big money fight. Isn't that what he's been looking for this whole time?
I’ll give being the guy to Lomachenko he’s tested himself against the top guys and come close. Tank ain’t sniffing near a top 5 guy and shakur just got there
Why yall get so defensive and personal when an analyst don’t agree with your opinion about your favorite fighter. It’s just an opinion until they fight. If you don’t agree state your reason why and move on. Some of yall act like a fighter is your boyfriend or something.
lol makes no sense how everyone Shakur has fought has touched him and now all of a sudden the most accurate power puncher in boxing who has Floyd like IQ WONT touch Shakur…. Make that make sense
You can tell that Teddy Atlas wants to just say Tank is the best and that's it. Teddy Atlas trained one of the best to ever do it Iron Mike.... I don't care what those other 🤡s think. I believe this is the year that Tank really starts to mow everybody down.
I'm still not fully convinced with Tank, because he's a notorious cherry picker. We all remember how Tank weight drained Ryan Garcia and Mario Barrios. And Frank Martin isn't an elite fighter. Tank should fight Shakur and prove he's the real deal, but he Tank will more likely fight old Lomachenko, and ducking Loma at super featherweight years ago. I'm old school, you gotta prove yourself against the best to impress me.
You sound delusional as hell, you want fighters come in 40 pounds overweight just to be tank 😂 talking bout weight drained, he naturally 130 and you want cats to be 150 & up to get the edge 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂
