Sorry, I never mentioned the kills. I really liked them. Some were better than others, but still solid.

This was a unique and different kind of horror movie. I liked it. I enjoyed following Johnny through the woods. I felt relaxed and peaceful for the most part. Yeah, there are moments I'm bored with the walking. The other characters are bad and their dialogue is horrible. The last 15 minutes was blah and very boring. I will say I did enjoy the last minute with the necklace back with Johnny. It was a complete story to me.

There are only three shots in this movie that I didn't like and one of them was the face reveal. By obscuring it so thoroughly leading up to that point I had it built up in my head that Johnnies face was so unspeakably horrible that they were never going to let us see it and I really liked that idea. Then they blow it half way through the movie and it's so underwhelming. He looks like an extra from the walking dead.
