I lived aboard a sailboat on the moorings for over 20 years (1971 to 1992)... Been through many a storm and didn't complain. I row back and forth to shore to go to work. I sailed my boat to Catalina Island across the bay many times. I had the best time of my life with fellow liveaboards I'll never forget and swap tales of friends and times gone past
I was born in 1963. Sometime in the 60s there was a song that mentioned Redondo Beach in the song. It was sung by a guy and may or may not have been a country, folk, or rock song. I would of had to of been hearing it in the radio and my folks listened to generally country. It is stuck in my mind like a fragmented dream. I have been hunting down this song for near 50 years. If anyone could help me find this song I'd be forever truly grateful. " ------someting beach and Redondo Beach where the big-----waters flow I wonder where the peaceful waters go." A verse was something to this effect. but im probably off considering that was 50 years or more ago.
