Thanks for your comment! Regarding the microphone: it depends on the situation really. Here I was using a Rode NTG Vid Mic on the camera a wide lens. I think it's supercardioid shotgun mic which is good for outdoors since captures what it's pointed at quite well. In this situation it worked out well because it wasn't too loud in the background and it was a wide lens so I was quite close to Tereza. If I was using a longer lens and/or the camera was further away and the microphone was on the camera it wouldn't get as clear sound. I'd have to either rig the microphone closer to her (off the camera) or use a lav I do have headphones on usually when I'm recording making sure it sounds good - if the background noises were too loud I would have used a lav microphone instead since that's on the body of the person. @@giobrahh All right, thanks for your answer, that definitely helps! Haha using headphones while recording definitely pays off! I'm thinking of buying a microphone too so I can record clearer outside sounds. Did you just connect your Rode NTG to the camera with an AUX cord?

Yes, as long as your camera has a 3.5mm jack you can connect the Rode NTG mic into your camera. Some microphones are XLR inputs rather than 3.5mm connections and that means having to get an adapter or extension etc @@sistfilms

@@giobrahh Alright, thank you so much! I was just wondering about your recording method, because I've heard that the quality gets so much better when recording via USB. But if you get these results just with the 3.5mm jack it's perfectly fine 🙏🏼

Yes I only use manual lenses! And I use a 24mm 95% of the time. My S1H can do S35 mode as well so sometimes I punch in to 35mm
