Butterflies, especially Monarch butterflies, have played a significant role in my family throughout the years. It started as a child being in N California at the Butterfly Festival every year when the Monarchs were migrating. After Mom’s death my sister and I attended a Hospice Celebration of Life to honor the souls who had passed and we released Monarchs in honor of my mother. Three years later we released Monarchs to celebrate my sister’s transition and it was so deeply moving to be among these beautiful, fragile creatures. Today, I keep plastic Monarchs in my house to symbolize the souls of all my loved ones who have passed, and every time I look at them I think fondly of my dear ones. They comfort me. Thank you Mary Ann! The horrors in the Middle East, the dictator-like rhetoric of Trump and his millions of followers is horrific! I am praying daily that mankind will shift out of Separation Consciousness and into Unity Consciousness. That would truly be Heaven on Earth. So many souls leaving the Earth right now! Love and prayers for you Mary Ann, and comfort and joy during this holiday season 🙏💝✨

I have noticed that the process of leaving the fallen leaves on the ground is a very important thing for the lives of the butterflies and other creatures like frogs ,earthworms and birds and so many other important creatures. I gathered lots of leaves from people who have raked them and bagged them for yard waste pick up. Such a lovely resource. I agree that I only take the side for peace in these barbaric and heartbreaking wars. We all need to learn to make peace and to live together in harmony with respect and compassion. Innocent people are the victims. This war making and the systems of medicine are the most profitable industries in the world. Weapons and chemicals! Next is the fossil fuels industrial rape ,pillaging and plundering of the environment and the reason for many wars. On and on... This is disgusting and damaging our lives and our planet. The eradicating of our freedom to live with a healthy standard of life and to enjoy our own personal lives with out the government's interferences in our own personal choices of our relationships, health care, reading materials and education etc. We are encouraged to own Weapons of mass shootings and other types of pesticides and herbicides that are killing and damaging our lives and the environment. We are witnessing fear mongering and the ability to control our lives with misinformation and propaganda. Life is magnificent and fascinating with such incredible opportunities that exist now as we are now. It is so important to remember the Golden Rule is a common belief in many different religions. "DO TO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE DONE TO YOU " . Just so very simple. We can change the world with our own focusing on what is really important for the development of peacefulness and joy in life. Blessings of the many different creative and amazing activities that are in alignment with our betterment and our success as people who are living with compassion, honesty, integrity, kindness, love and peace. It is a very simple process of healing and learning how to get along with each other and to be respectful and generous of heart ♥ plus, it will be a great joy and comfort to share this world with enthusiasm and learning to live in harmony. Here in the US we are going into winter. After a couple of hard frosts, we had several monarchs and other butterflies 🦋 fly through past my patio. It was so surprising but knew it was a transformation sign. Made my heart happy 🙏💖🥰

If only leaders would let go of righteousness and ego we could find a way toward empathy and peace. My heart is so sad at what is happening at this time, those Palestinian children will never overcome the trauma they have suffered. I don’t take sides, I am on the side of compassion and mercy. I keep waiting patiently for Devine intervention. Yesterday, I stood in the bright sunlight and asked for peace.

But I remember the photos of Vietnam and the one of the terrorized little girl running naked in a dirt street. We all have to pray in our own ways for peace. Thank you for sharing your lovely butterflies. It's the gloomy season here in NC, we won't see them for months now. I have several pollinator gardens and even grow milkweed for the monarchs. I get tons of butterflies, hummingbirds and bees. I miss them, and it was nice to "see" the monarchs again via your eyes.

So much death and destruction, so many families, torn apart. It is inconceivable to me how anyone could bring that on another country or anywhere! And for what? What could lead people to do this? It is so heartbreaking I can’t even watch the news about it anymore. And when I think about it, I just wanna cry. It is so sad, so very sad. Nature really knows how to comfort us, it's truly amazing. Not a surprise that those gentle creatures would be drawn to you. When I lost my mother, I was also close as I've ever been to despair, and I dreamt I was walking with her and she stopped in front of a bush; when I looked closely it was alive with butterflies. The message couldn't be more explicit. No death, just a change in manifestation.

🕊🩷🩵🌏💙🌎🩵🩷🕊I am here for Peace too, dear Maryann. 🌍 Though it is winter here in Pennsylvania, my flower garden is full of milkweed, the food and egg-laying place of choice for Monarch Butterflies🦋🌾🐛🦋🦋🌾🐛🦋🦋🌾🐛🦋 The milkweed pods are starting to release their "thistledown", blowing to the East. A few years ago in a summer when I felt great healing and astonishing joy and energy (2017) I was tending scads of flowering plants, indoors and out. I had filled a large plastic watering can with good water the day before, and kept it on our back porch on the sunny morning side. Later, I watered the giant dahlias 🏵🌸🏵outside our back door, and blooming Christmas Cacti 🪷🪷💮💮🪷💮and Peace Lilies in our cooler, shadier Solar Room. Once I finished, there was only a bit of lovely water in the can, so I brought it to the kitchen to refill and sun-warm for the next day. I was called away by some task, and when I got back to the kitchen, I kept hearing an odd sound, skritchy with intermittent thrumming with a tiny hint of splashing. I live in an old farmhouse, whose various noises and quirks I've known since childhood. I kept listening and looking about, was it the water pipes burbling, a leak, the furnace, the washing machine acting up?? Finally I gave up puzzling and mostly filled the watering can. As I carried it towards the sunlit porch I felt a soft thrum and heard ?? a soft whoosh.🌬 💙🕊🦋 A Monarch Butterfly was circling the inside, walking widdershins, with her damp wings close together. I gently placed a finger where she could step up, and I lifted her just to the outer rim. She stepped off my finger and rested, then started circling clockwise, slowly unfolding and refolding her wings to dry them. Round she went, eleven times. On the last round, she stopped next to my tummy, and lingered a long while. 🩷🦋🕊 Then she flew perfectly, to join a whole flock 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 of Monarchs in our Pink Dogwood tree. They all flew about in a tangerine rainbow...and then flitted away to the organic farm across the road, which had a huge milkweed garden for them! 🦋🌾🦋🌾🦋 I watered Lilies of Peace....and then experienced Peace. I wish I had a watering can big enough for our Whole World 🕊💧💧💧💧💧🌎🌍🌏🦋 Thank you, Maryann, for tending our Planetary Garden of Peace. Your watering can is deep and wise. 😇🦋🕊🪷💧🩵
